The Elite Software channel is dedicated to providing instructional videos on the various calculation programs offered by Elite Software in College Station, TX USA.
I am late to the video, but I hope to receive a response. I am an architect who is interested in learning more about this software. It looks like it will provide all Manual J, Manual S, and Manual D calculations needed for the design of a complete system. Is that correct?
Thank you for the video. Please add a diagram at the beginning that describes the wall you will model. For example, I need help understanding the internal space 1 value of 2 inches. Does the U-factor calculator come with the Rhvac software, or is that a separate component that must be purchased?
How many sprinklers has to be considered in one zone. Eg If 150 sprinkler ( 50 Pendent+ 100upright) in 100mm pipe then how many sprinkler has to be considered for hydraulic calculation
This video shows a couple of ways to import a pdf screen capture into Rhvac. Since only the last method was acceptable why wasn't that the only method to be presented? If not then under what conditions would the other methods be used? Lastly, when there are options available, a brief discussion about the trade-offs would meanifully improve the presentation.
The functional demo of Fire limits the number of pipe sections to 10. To calculate for projects with more than 10 pipes, you have to buy the Fire program from here www.elitesoft.com
There are 3 outflow points in the system, each flowing 250 gpm with at least 100 psi residual pressure. The gate valves are fittings and are entered to account for pressure loss through them.
@@elitesoftware1 Thank you for your useful explaining. I have question for your kind help : When inserting data for sprinklers, why we don't consider the elbows or tees that sprinklers installed in them as fittings? Example: when start inserting the first two sprinklers of the design area ( number 1&2 ) we do not insert fittings.

Consulta: quiero colocar demanda de bombero a 250gpm a 100psi, pero coloco factor equivalente K=25, pero el software reconoce la presión del sistema de rociadores y no los 100psi que requiere. ¿cómo soluciono eso?. Gracias.
@ 2:00 How do you handle a partition between rooms? Do I need to add the partition to "BOTH" rooms or just in one room? Example with two office spaces would have been helpful. From what I can tell, you ignore the wall; however, I have a warehouse. Warehouse can climb up to 90F (ventilation cooling only) and the office spaces need to be 75F. I can see ignoring the "partition" between the offices, but not the wall between the offices and the warehouse.
Hello, can you please tell me where we can add floor number in this software. For example ghe zone is on second so where we put the floor number. Please reply soon.
