If my husband's ex-wife died and left a child I would have no choice but to raise that child who cares whose child it is it's still a child of course I would raise it as my own
Another Woman's Child (TV Movie 1983) 6.0 Mike and Terry DeBray are a happily married couple whose lives change when the young daughter that Tony fathered out of wedlock suddenly appears and comes into their lives.
How insane mankind is! On the one side, embryos and fetuses are aborted in the most outrageous ways, on the argument that they are noy humans. On the other hand, eggs are considered humans to become. Life is not something to play with.
You know it irked me as a mom to watch the part where she's dumping her kid off for some man and if the man was anh count he would've insisted she take her daughter
I've been working at jobs men usually do, was the only women in an orientation class of 24 of us and didn't think anything of it, except that there's more pay and knowing I can do it. Seeing this, I didn't know the judgements flowing about women doing men's jobs. I know back then for her to do this "man's" job was fiercer than today, she rocks!
Too bad this is so true to life. When a person leaves they don’t realize they have left with more than themselves. Coming back leaves the other person who stayed different. Yes marriage counseling and prayer can help but for some the vows are broken to a point where they can’t be mended. It’s too bad because the one who leaves is only thinking of themselves. They mistakenly think they can come back and continue on like a movie that’s been put on pause. It doesn’t always work that way. Good movie and good acting and beautiful mature ending with the mother sitting at the kitchen window over hearing the conversation between the daughter and the dad. The dad is left in limbo and the daughter has grown up.❤❤❤❤❤

What a selfish bunch of women you are. I got married at 2, had my firs child at 21. Married to an alcoholic, he never said he loved me , like this man does. Just called me names. I had my fourth baby at 27. I had no family, for 50 miles. I was on my own, with unpaid bills, gossipy villagers, who had no compassionate, no concept of what marriage to an alcoholic was like. I soldiered on, did my best. I have 10 grandchildren, and 5 more by foster teens.
I married the month following high school graduation. We have 2 sons, 9 grands, and 5 greats! My wonderful husband passed 6 yrs ago. We were married 53 yrs. Got to attend our 50 th class reunion. I’ve moved and downsized and miss him so much. But I believe we will be reunited in eternity. I’ve been blessed and try to stay humble.
Very good movie it proves there is power in love and forgiveness all the good years they had together they took vows and they were in love. There should always be enough room in our hearts for others in need . This little girl lost her mother. I would have taken her with great love. 💕 💕🙏

It’s hard to believe this was a made for TV movie given the quality of the script and acting. I miss stories like these that were just about people. There was heart and soul and so much creative energy back then.
