I'll share all my tips and tricks with you to help educate and inspire you to try new things!
I purchased 3 weeks ago and have been practicing for hours on the weekends. This tip helped more than others but I still can’t seem to get consistent results. Some parts of my will be wavy, some spiral, some just turn out straight? And most of the time tugs at hair no matter the section size. I feel like I’ve done more damage to my hair that I was trying to avoid by purchasing it 😭
What’s the best product to hold the curl in ? Mine is shoulder length, a few layers, salt and pepper gray and coarse. the curl falls out within 30 min usually. Thx
I almost gave up trying to use mine.. I watched this and tried it again. Your video was so short and simple... and the most helpful. Thank you. That one tip .. made a huge difference. Love my duo now.
#replay Thank you so much for showing me how to use my new l'ange! My hair looked liked a birds nest until I found your tutorial! My hair is super thick and I need to be patient using small sections.
Are u using the standard or large le duo? I feel like I should get the large as I hv mid length hair but I'll probably cut shorter in the future. Not sure how the large would work with shorter hair.
I have both of them and I do think the shorter one is better for shorter hair, and vice versa, longer one for longer hair. I’ve also used the longer one with my shorter hair and it works great too!
I need to join a class on how to do this lol I get one strand to curl then the next one wont curl at all I tried for 5 minutes straight on the same strand 🤪🥴
Couple things, 1) make sure your hair sections are combed out before using it 2) I always use some product ahead of time, like glaze hair lotion before blow drying. Something to smooth your hair out.
Start at the root and twist and then slide and then twist again all while going slow and steady. If you move fast it won’t do anything. I love mine it’s a game changer.
#replay I'm brand new to L'ange and the Le Duo. Thank you for this tutorial. I mainly style my hair in a Vintage 50's early 60's look, but I'm also looking for that casual beachy wave style for my non Vintage look.
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I have watched SO many videos and yours is the first one to really explain what angle to hold the Le Duo and how to twist it to get the perfect curl with the straight ends. So helpful!
Question? I can get the curl to look cute like that but it only holds for about 30-60 mins then falls out? Is there a remedy for this or is it maybe my hair type? I have thick naturally curly hair. i have used tyme iron for years and the curls hold and are amazing. i wanted to switch to the le duo cause of the setting fan and its less hard to burn yourself. But the curl wont hold for long. I use the highest heat setting.
I love that you specifically mentioned using the iron at a 45 degree angle! I've been having the issue where one side of my hair loses a lot of curl partway through the day, but the other side stays put. It's probably due to how I'm angling it while styling!
I always use Glaze Hair Lotion, Whip Volumizing Mousse, and Grand Debut Root Booster on my hair before even blow drying it! Then on dry hair after styling I used the Marula Oil to help add some shine and hydration in! 💕
