Welcome to the Jeepmanking Channel!!!! I like to pass along information and knowledge that I have, by working on my own stuff. God gave me a skill set to work on everything that I’ve owned and it’s saved me a lot of money, and it’s increased my knowledge on several things. On my channel my son and I did a 11 video series of a Cummins conversion on a Chevy K1500 truck that you should check out!!! My daughter inspired me and with her help we started my RU-vid Channel”Jeepmanking”. I am also in the process of renovating a 1987 Marinette 32 Sedan Flybridge boat and I’m bringing her back to life again. I grew up hunting, trapping and fishing and I served in the United States Coast Guard. I hope some of my projects will help you in your projects. I want to say thank you for watching and stay tuned for many more topics on my channel. God bless you and may God bless America.

I have a non-electronic 031AV. Guy gave it to me and I'm doing a complete rebuild on it. Piston and cylinder are in great shape but I discovered it has 42mm bore. Everything I've found says the saw has a 44mm bore. I'm not sure if this is an oddball or someone changed the cylinder out at some point. Hopefully I'll get it running and it won't be under powered.
@@gregkloe if you get it running you will know how power it has left without a rebuild. For a free saw you should be well pleased with the power it has. Thanks for watching and I hope you get it running soon!!!!
@@jeepmanking3577 Thanks. It's already almost completely restored. I'm at a crossroads though: do I throw in the towel or try to find the correct cylinder and piston. I keep running into compatibility issues with parts. I'm thinking if I locate a more complete unit, say, crankcase, crank, rod, piston and cylinder, I can put it back to factory specs. If the crank and rod are the same, all I would need is a good cylinder and piston. I am tenacious(or stubborn!) and I don't want this saw to beat me. I can tell it was well used since there was very little paint on it and plenty of dings and scratches in the metal. But the piston and cylinder looked really good which probably should have been an indicator to me that it had been replaced at some point. I suppose someone could have had a 023/025 that they took the cylinder/piston from.
@@gregkloe ok that’s a bummer, I’m sure you have been to a reputable small engine shop to see if they can order you one. Best of luck let me know how it turned out for you. Thanks for watching
@@BryanKephart I sold it, over a month ago. My Predator 3500 inverter/generator runs my marine a/c and fridge and battery charger with only1990 watts total, and uses a fraction of the gas. Thanks for watching!!!!
@@jeepmanking3577 awesome, can't wait. We ran the entire boat off our honda 2k sailboat genny we've had forever. Runs everything but the air con predator 3500 also is the plan one day like you
@@Attic_Labs I thought you was going to do something different and sell your boat?? Maybe I should’ve put out a volunteer request on my RU-vid channel and you and your buddies could’ve come down and done it for me would make my life lot easier, lol. Are you putting in diesels?
@@jeepmanking3577 ugh, I thought about selling the boat yes. Had a bit of a bad time doing a clutch on my exploder and realized I am getting old and tired lol. Worried that I would just have never ending projects. We posted it, but no one really wants these old boats except fabricators like us. SOOOO... she's currently still here in the back garden and I am looking to find a way to get rid of these 360's. They run good, but no one wants. Thinking about offering up FREE if someone just pulls them Diesels? not sure... likely going to do the outboard bracket and conversion and make a better loop boat Love the boat, hate the twin petrols
@@Attic_Labs understand on the gassers, twin four cylinder 3.0 Mercruiser would be good for me , I’m a slow cruiser. One outboard would be good twin 25hp outboard I think would be a great slow cruiser. A 40 foot houseboat near my Marina had twin 25 hp Yamaha and said they worked fine.
@@jeepmanking3577 I was thinking a single 250 yamaha likely. Twins is more reliable in a pinch, but "twice of everything" to maintain and break. So a single, and a emergency kicker maybe even the dink motor. I've collected a LOT of parts for the project when I scrapped the blue 34 for the trailer for the marinette. Twin 3.0 mercruisers would be good. I have one in the stingray and love it. I thought about this but the math heads said the MPG would be the same or worse. And still need to swap one trans to achieve counter rotation with two standard rotating engines. It's looking the best option is the outboard swap, and then below decks where the engines were could become a workshop lol we also slow cruise 99% of the time
Hi, I am Sakib. I saw that you are very serious about RU-vid, But cannot growing the channel. So, I analyzed your channel and saw that In your channel have many problem. Thank you for posting. If I may, i take it you started recording after removal? I wager that people came here to see the start to finish. The start of the job is just as important as completion. Thank you for sharing.
@@christianhilditch9333 if you go to the end of the video I put the driveshaft back in, just do it in reverse and you can understand how I took it out. Thanks for watching!! Video was super long and needed to shorten it somewhere!! Lol
I did pretty much same thing .. I forgot wheel chocks so I asked my kid to put them down , when he crawled under I asked and he forgot but he said the brake was on. I asked you sure it works, it was his Yukon xl. He assured me it did. We were replacing rear transfer case seal… when I popped the driveline it rolled right off the ramps… I could have got out but my kids head was right under rear diff so I shoved him out and I got the tire under my arm pit. I have worked on stuff for 40+ years … I always use wheel chocks l, jackstands ect…one time I forgot and instead of doing the right thing and crawling out and chocking it it cost me a torn spleen, 6 broken ribs and a punctured lung..my first thought is well this is how I die… then I was like …well I am still alive but the frame was just low enough it was resting on my chest and I couldn’t breathe… my kid was freaked out luckily my neighbor was outside and I had a floor jack sitting there next to vehicle… never take a short cut or trust that parking brake or jack
man what a great video! im having a problem with mercruiser 3.0 bayliner. once im in the water running the boat, it completely turns off and i have no spark at the coil and my coil is hot then once it cools down it starts right back up again. i just saw my RPM gauge is stuck at 800 Rpm and i noticed my volt meter says its 10v while starting and 11-12 volts running. im definitely going to sand all my connections!
@@alltorque415 check all your connections on your engine and check your grounds that are bolted to the block as well. Check your power supply wire for your ignition usually attached to your starter along with the battery supply. I had a 3.0 several years ago that would run fine than die, It was the wire at the starter. Hope this helps. Once you get proper voltage this could be your ignition module going bad causing it to die once it warms up. Thanks for watching!!!
@@jeepmanking3577 thanks for the help!!!! im sanding every single connection right now as we speak lol, all the connections i have sanded definitely needed cleaning. then when i was cleaning the cables on the alternator, i checked the tension on the belt and it was so loose i can spin the alternator pulley with my fingers with ease. thats for sure would not give me the proper voltage if the alternator isnt spinning
Close to ten months working a full time job and family. If I would do it again I would pay someone to hang the drywall, that was not easy doing it alone.
@@1ocellus I thought about full wall and door , but liked the open floor plan, since we were going to be the main cate taker of my mother in law. Thx for watching
Looks like you did similar to us with planting and the Dewitt fabric. We learned that it works well year one. The next year primacanes wont have space to come up, they try and sprout under the fabric. We ended up filling the fabric back in year 2.5. Did I miss what variety thornless you planted?
@@DeanFamilyAcres yes I figured I would have to cut back some of the plastic once it starts growing well. You didn’t miss what variety because I forgot to mention, and now I can’t remember, lol. I’m on year two with the Dewitt and looks the same as the first year. I really like it!!!! Thanks for watching!!!
I like the fact that it’s semi-open concept. But there’s enough separation and having that little half wall gives you some wall space that you don’t realize you need until you need it. Somebody could make it a little more closed off if they wanted to, but they don’t have to. Good functional design.
I talk about it in one of the other three videos of this build on my channel look at my playlist all four videos are located there. Thanks for watching!!!
I have a 10' livingston....Fantastic little boat that keeps the water away from you at speed. It's a very dry ride. When my current one dies, I'll be getting another. EDIT: 10 footer, not 20 footer.
@@gergc4871 well I’m glad you like your boat. I just got the hull painted and Keel guard installed and the outboard done two weeks ago and hopefully I’ll be able to put it in the water this week and take her for a test drive. Part two of this build series will be out next weekend.
@@jeepmanking3577 I saw another video where they filled the motor with some kind of food grade silicon with a syringe. Your way looks easier. My only issue is my gauge reads empty when off and full when you start it, with the occasional trip back to empty.
Great Video! My wife and I watch all your videos. I have many questions i recently purchased a 1991 marinette same model as yours. Curious if you have ran your ac off your generator and if so did it work fine
I am getting ready to install a soft start on the a/c system, very popular in the RV world to run the a/c units off of generator power. I will have a video of this in the near future. I did try on eco mode but it tripped so it didn’t have enough time to rev up, now Off of eco mode it should do fine but didn’t try it until I get the soft start hooked up. Thanks for watching
New information for you today I have my marine air conditioner running lights and refrigerator all off of the Predator 3500 it pulls 16.2 amps and 1962 Watts. It runs no problem and it’s got plenty more watch it that generator can handle even with all of those items on. Hope it helps. I’m gonna be putting a video here on this in the next week for you.
I used the 4L60e, you can used 4L80, turbo 400, or manual transmission. Go to my playlist I have ten more videos of this build and show you how I hooked up the trans, thx for watching!!!
Mom loved you like a son. I know she would have cherished every moment in the cottage and treasured staying there. I will always be so thankful for your desire to build her a home to enjoy. Though she never got to spend time there, she knew you were working hard to complete it for her. I love you, Aaron.
you are a liar ! i am a builder . in texas i had most of the material. and pier and beam office i built. i am at 26k and not completed! let me know where you get your material. and it has a kitchenette bath @ 450 sq/ ft i have all invoices !and prove you wrong ! FYI 38 in this business!!!
I purchased a 2004 ford lariat 4x4 at 138k miles. It ticked then. Now it has 184k miles. Runs great Change the oil every 5k. Also check your oil level every fuel up.
Love the build, I am looking into replicating on some land that I just purchased in New York. The only question I have is about the exterior connection lines. How do you keep those from freezing in the winter? You mentioned the cold temps in your area and I think we're going to pretty regularly get negative 20 every year at least once from now on. Do you do anything in the winter months to protect those lines from freezing? I'm inclined to not forever doom my lines to the slab, but I also don't love the idea of replacing burst pipes all the time. Any suggestions?
I put my waterlines in the ground between 18 to 24 inchesand then before I poured the concrete, I ran the pecks line in a piece of PVC conduit and brought it up about 2 foot inside the home that way you won’t have to worry about it freezing. Then where I connected onto my homes waterline, I put in a blowout valve that way in case the cottage was vacant. I could use an air compressor and blow out all the waterlines underground and also throughout the cottage.. I did not want my waterlines running through my slab. I have those in the walls. I hope that answers your question. Let me know if it doesn’t. Thanks for watching.
Great video! I have this same issue. I have already cleaned all the wiring in the icm but didn't clean the bolts. I'm going to try that next. Wish me luck 🤞
I had a 2002 f150 ext cab 4x4 5.4 .baught it with 93,000 It just turned 270,000 this past christmas.the next day I was t boned totaling it.i was more pissed that I was hoping to get 400,000 miles. Rebuilt the front end,k&n air filter and that's was it. Everything original. .oil every 3000. Tranny fluid 50,000. Maintenance is key
Part three or Part 4 of this video series I discuss why I didn’t put a porch on the front. My plan was a full front porch with a swing and ceiling fans. Thanks for watching…
used a tiny bit of jb weld to hold my key in place then tapped it flush and cleaned it after it cured had the dammed pump in n out about 10 times now and the key hasnt been a problem since.
My dad gave me his old red one- just serviced, carb is tuned and it runs like a top. I only use E0 gasoline in it. Just used it the other day to fell a mulberry tree- too big for the little plastic saw, sure worked great. He got the red one after his older blue one got crushed by a rotten trunk that slipped as he was cutting. OTOH sure glad I have the little plastic saw for cutting the limbs- flipping around that 24" bar on the XL is a bit of work!
I have a 2005 F150 5.4 that I bought new with 25 miles and now has 345,000 miles. Engine has never needed anything more than maintenance and truck has original starter, alternator, water pump and even radiator and hoses. I live in my 19ft travel trailer and tow it all over the western US with it. Change your oil and maintain your truck. 👍🏼👍🏼
Hello. I have a 2010 kawasaki mule 4010 with this style of injection pump and for the lofe of me i can not get fuel to squirt out of the check valves. I cleaned it hundreds of times over. I even bought a used pump and swapped the parts over and still no squirting out of the check valves. I know the solenoid is working i checked it. And when i spin it over with a drill at similated engine rpm fuel is coming out of the retuen lines like a waterfall but not out of the check valves. I even tried bleeding the pump of any air
Do you have a an additional supply fuel pump on the side of the engine or possibly an electric fuel pump that supplies fuel to the injector pump? I’m not familiar what this pump looks like, but I do understand theory that when you spend your pump over with a drill, you have fuel coming out the return line, but not the delivery valves.. That is very possible it could be a broken cam plate because without it working properly, there’s no way to increase to the high-pressure fuel to come out of the delivery valves that lead to the injector lines and then to the injectors.
