I was marooned on an ice flow on Great Slave Lake with just my NF scope and a pastrami sandwich. I built a 3 bedroom, 2 story cabin, using just the NF scope.
7.62 NATO EPR @ .649 b.c. is PRETTY MUCH better then .699 b.c. 6.5 Creedmoor IF you can handle the extra 25% weight. More A.P. as well too. BIGGER WOUND CHANNEL TOO!
.700 b.c. 7.6 and 8mm Creedmoor is better then 6.5 Creedmoor if you can handle the extra 20% ammo weight. If you are a small Mestizo you cannot. If you are a large Bavarian, you can.
Thank you so much!! Exactly what I was looking for. Was watching vids for days trying to figure out what Spuhr mount I need for my Precision 300 Win Mag + 50mm scope + Pulsar Krypton 2 Thermal attachment (future). Awesome!!
Nice explanation, thanks! I am currently looking for a suppresor for my MR308 and was a bit dumbfounded when I saw a noise reduction of only 18-22dB and was questioning, if that was even worth it, regarding hearing protection. Now I know it's a trade off and understand why the noise reduction is so low compared to the suppresor I have on my hunting rifle.
Awesome video. Super helpful. Been scouring the internet for guidance on what height Spuhr mount to get for my LPVO 28mm objective lens. Only curveball now was near the end about not going to low of a height because that can be an issue as well. Super helpful to also know the lowest height wouldn’t work for me because it’s a Trijicon.
There is not only no "special coating" on the screws but they have WAX on them. If you want the best result you should DEGREASE them and use Loctite! You would know if you READ THE MANUAL.
I purchased a nib ISMS-QDP-4016. I was following this video, and set my driver to 45 in lb not realizing your fastening system is different. As a result, I'm left with a broken mount. 😭 I sent Spuhr an email to address options, so keeping my fingers crossed! 🤦🤞🙏
Yea not true , jim didn’t invent the ar 15 , i just hurd out his own mouth , gein stoner was chief designer and invented the 10 to 15 and the 18 stop spreading missin formation, but jim did upgrade the gas system and more
That’s an Idaho problem my dude. They don’t pay no one good in that state. The only people who make a good living there are people who work remote. They all primarily live in Boise and Cour D’ Lane
That does suck but the Seekins is very affordable relative to something like a $5.5k KAC Rifle so seems they’re passing the labor savings onto their consumers
