well done! any tricks to flying so slowly? pinching the sticks and have trouble with little movements. I wish there were speed limits like the other camera drones
@@reallyvirtualtours thank you! Yeah I’ve really tried to hone in a simple and efficient approach, as much as the drone pilot in me wants to get fancier ;)
Curious which controller you are using? I've always used the regular RC but recently tried the FPV smart controller and found it very intuitive. I also like how you can link the goggles to head movements as compared to the Avata 1. Thanks for any reply.
@@jimpugh1553 I find it necessary to use the standard (Controller 3) controller. This is because when I go around corners a fly sideways while turning so I can keep things framed better. This isn’t really possible with the motion controller.
@@a-framephotoaerial6988 I appreciate you taking the time to answer my questions. You gained a new subscriber. I'll tag you once I post my first FPV tour. Thanks, again!
Hello, very good video. I have heard from some pilots that caution should be taken when going from flying outside to flying inside, since the drone behaves a little crazy due to the GPS signal, tell us if the flight went well. thank you!!
Came for the drone footage, stayed for the home tour. Holy schnikies what a house. Im guessing thats in the good part of town lol. My house could fit in the garage lol. great job on the tour footage. How long did it take you to fly that well?
Great video. Did you do a lot of post editing? Having trouble with exposure being either too dark or lighter but grainy. How did you overcome this? Thanks!
Thank you! I don’t do a ton of post work other than stabilizing and adding my custom lut. I do usually try to take the yellow cast too with a hue vs saturation adjustment. Otherwise i try to make sure there’s as much light as possible inside and then I also make sure to set a max ISO of 1600 in settings.
@@a-framephotoaerial6988 Thanks for the information, I'm trying to convince a couple of clients to either 'want' this kind of video or possibly let me do it for my own experience/knowledge
@@danieltartaglia7814 for sure! When I first got started with these I kept the Avata with me on my normal photoshoots and when there was a cool house I’d ask if they’d let me fly through it for free. Once I had a few samples I created a page on my website to sell it and then emailed it to existing client base. Sold two right away and since then sold a dozen or so
Beautiful!! Can you take stills with the Avata too? Real Estate Photographer in Cape Cod here. I'm looking for a new way to film inside homes for my clients. Thanks for your in-site.
Where are you when you do this? Anytime I try to fly inside, I lose some connection because of the walls I guess. And my gps never works inside, so I’m always drifting
Thanks! I really don’t like the motion controller. I use the standard one because I find it’s crucial that in order to keep the shots well framed I have to strafe left and right while turning. The motion controller causes you to have to pan left or right while turning and this causes long stretches where there’s no point of interest for the viewer.
Thank you! This was one of my first so I was extra cautious and flew a little slower than I’d prefer but I got through it without knocking any artwork off the walls 😆
