It's too bad the ride didn't have that feature from the 1999 movie HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL where the track breaks and the fake coaster falls off and fools the real riders and the track fixes itself.
Would anyone recommend this for a first timer like me to go on this like how many speed is that? I would love to go on this, but I’m also scared because I’ve never been on an upside down roller coaster before
Ok, so having gone on the hulk coaster, I can tell you that the ride is a lot of fun and not that scary; it’s just more thrilling fun than scary. Having gone on hagrids before, then transitioning to the hulk made it feel easier, but i don’t think the experience will change all that much either way. As for the hulk coaster, it does go very fast, especially during the launch (0-40 mph i think), so you will be pushed back to your seat a lott. But in the terms of the loops, don’t be afraid of them as they also not that terrifying because you’re already going so fast that you won’t even realize you’ve gone through the loops. For a first timer, I would definitely recommend going on this ride; it’s gonna be a lot of thrills thrown in, but at the end of the day, it’s for the fun of it. Lemme know if you made it!
@@misterj_j thank you! 😁 And I might give it a try I’ll get my courage up by the next time, maybe if I go on hagrids roller coaster first and then the Hulk, I’ll see though and for sure I’ll let you know if I ever do so.
We did our 1st Universal trip ever back in June, and this coaster alone made it worth it. So smooth and fun. The 2d launch up the tophat is the greatest coaster section ever engineered. Words do no justice.
dueling dragons was replaced by Hagrids magical creature motorbike adventure not Velocicoaster I know this because dueling dragons was in the lost continent which is where the wizarding world is now.
This was my 1st rollercoaster I’ve ride since 2014 , the most intense and exited part is the launch . Since that year I’ve ride all the rollercoasters in all Orlando and I conquer the fear as a huge fan coaster . This one has a very special place in my heart too . 🤘🤘🥇🥇
I rode this ride an dim terrified of heights,coasters and im an overthinker with anxiety and this ride is awesome,i was terrified at first cuz the biggest ride ive ever rode befor the hulk one was the bat at kings island so
Ok so funny story: me and my family went to this resort one time and wanted to ride this. However, as soon as we were next in line for the loading area…………… the ride was halted because of Florida weather like several miles away. We were standing there for what felt like hours before we actually rode the roller coaster.

Warning, this coaster is VERY forceful, you will get a headache, neck pain, or back pain. Also if you are going for first time and you don’t want to get flung everywhere DONT go edges
Last time I attempted to ride it was long long ago in high school. Waited close to an hour in line with my anxiety in overdrive and chickened out last minute. I'm going to try to redeem myself and conquer the fear in two days.
This ride may not be the fastest, or the most immersive at the park, but this mean green machine still packs a punch. The launch alone shoves you so far back in your seat it’s impossible to just hold on and keep your head back.
I heard rumors where they are going to start testing the initial launch going fast, up to 80 MPH or more. They will also go slower, about 60-50 MPH. I believe they will adjust the necessary modifications and see what will run better: the slow initial launch or the faster one. But they could always keep it at 74 MPH, who knows.
This is kinda random but what I always liked about the Marvel section of this park is how it’s themed more around the Marvel comics rather than the Marvel movies. It’s a nice charm :)
