Try to get your hands on a Traktor Komplete Audio 6 and you can use it to route your violin into Traktor and then leverage the real-time effects. It's pretty powerful for live gigs.
I've been using my M1 Pro on Serato the last year with stems on the fly. I was a fan of traktor since 2014 till 2023. Wont be going back to it. Thumbs DOWN
Not impressed with that stems processing. That's basically doing separation used in VDJ and Serato for prepared folders with not only takes forever, but also takes a lot of storage.
@@PhearNoneGearGadgets that's even more disappointing for m1 standards bro and it's not like their stems are the cleanest either with that drag time, so that would be a deal breaker for many djs.
@@kudamah a lot of djs will do that stuff ahead of time though, so idk how much of a deal breaker the speed issue actually is. The sound and separation quality is probably more important.
@@sanj-m maybe so for some... but i've gotten accustom doing stems on the fly. Preping stems was more a feature there for older laptop that aren't powereful enuf to do it live.
@@kudamah personally I want to hear the quality of the separation before playing it live, quality control. I dont want random artifacts and clicks coming through and making my mix sound like ass. To each their own i guess.
There are 100 million long samples otherwise known as songs on RU-vid. With the ability to match the key, the tempo. and isolated vocals on the fly, you will not run out of new song combinations. Its litterally a new music business.
I have purchased some many wired head phones apple , and other brands that work with Apple. This also includes dongles with non Apple Jacks. The only work a few weeks if even. Any idea why?
Sorry to hear the bad experience with some wires. I have had that problem with different wires in the past. I also have some 3rd party wires that still work to this day. Most of my apple wires still work . Its hard for me to give a reason on why some work and some don't. So I guess thats a long winded answer saying I have no idea why lol.
I Have the tlm 49. and one of my clients who record at my studio have the 102. He prefers to practice with his mic. but professionally record using my mic. My pre is the Avalon 737. running into my UA Apollo twin. and my DAW is Logic.. So Go with the tlm 49. You won't regret it...
The only thing with spark sub is u can't use them in the unison slot in Console which is huge with the mic pre's and Channel strips. Instead of matching the volume you gotta match the gain. And proximity is gonna change the tone big time from each mic. I liked the Royer emulation tone. My Mojave Tube condenser is made by David Royer.
I bought the Focusrite ISA One Mic Pre. It was made by Rupert Neve. It's a toss up as to a pre or good mic. . I think I would get the WA 67. You got good clean power with your apogee. A lot of times I don't use my outboard pre but use the 1073 plug in From UAD in my unison slot with my Apollo. I've gotten some of my best vocal sounds with it. Adding a good Tube condenser was game changing for me. I use a Mojave MA-300 Large Condenser Tube Mic. Twice as much as the WA67 but I bet it's no better. I buying that WA-67. Everywhere else wants 900$ but Pro Audio Source is able to give you the whole package brand new for less than 650$.
Hey buddy if you like the 67 The WA 67 From Warm Audio is one of the best clones period . out of all the styles of clones. Watch the tutorial from Masterclass comparing it to his Neumann 67 He knows his shit. He did a really deep test comparing them and he was blown away. He's not sponsored by anyone. All the other models of Warm Audio clones like the Wa 251 and the WA 47 . He didn't like but he said and I agree they got it right with the 67. They use all killer components like Lundahl transformers, and the K67 style vintage capsule like the original. You can get it with everything even a killer Gothem 7 pin cable for 639.00$ on Pro Audio Source online gear store. It's a no brainer. Watch the tutorial from Masterclass. I think he spells Masterclass a little different he's from Belgium . He's a total pro engineer does huge projects. You'll be glad you did. I know a 67 would sound better than both of those. Check it out. Good luck. That is if you didn't buy anything yet I just saw this is 10 months old.
Thanks for the feedback and recommendations! I own the TLM 102 and it does a majority of the heavy lifting for my rap vocals. I used a 67 on a project and that turned out well. I also own the sphere Lx mic and use the Sony 800 simulation from time to time. I haven’t bought anything other than those mics for vocals and I also own a royer 121, and a SM7B. For me it’s which mic will sound best on my voice at this point.
You can play anything your other device is playing through the denon decks. But send the playlist itself to the Prime 4 with out using using your source device, no not that I know of.
It's been a minute boss man 🙏 does the prime go have on-screen effects like the prime 4 plus where you can swipe your finger across the screen to make different sound effects or is that exclusive only to the Denon DJ prime 4 plus
@@nicholasharalambidis2884 I demonstrate the effects on the Prime Go here. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hwOK3aH42Zs.htmlfeature=shared
@@PhearNoneGearGadgets my guy thank you for this! I'm definitely grabbing a prime go definitely now! I appreciate your honesty. Not that many people shared that on RU-vid I believe. You got a Sub for this! You rock
Prime Go is due for an update, I can see them making a Prime Go 2, but that’s just a guess. Check my video to make sure the OH Prime Go does everything you want.
@@PhearNoneGearGadgetsthat's a tough one to swallow if they make a Go 2 if I get the prime Go. Doesn't Denon do events like pioneer to show off their up coming products?
They're making steps in the right direction towards improvement but their integration on any device with a display screen or display in the jogs fall short in delivering the details. Not a bad back up app.
5.2 is a great update and finally a native Prime Go map, I have however modified it because there a quite a few things that don't work right out of the box so to speak. The VU meters aren't working for example,, My map is perfect for me but obviously would have loved the integration of the Prime go screen. I have even crudely mapped the Go to be a 4 channel controller! One great feature of 5.2 is that now the EQ no longer resets itself when ever you toggle to Neural EQ,, This was extremely annoying before. All in all Djay is one great Dj software
man’ The Rane Performer is Excellent’ i bought the 4 by Rane 1ST, that was … Cool😮😮💨🤓, However The Performer came out Officially.. like 15 to 20 days Later, Which Blew me away🙄😳🤯🫢🤣🤣🤣🤣, But i am Enjoying it and Definitely Has More To … LEARN???, Especially When i decides To Really… Implement Stems, 😏☺️, its Not Really Important To Me!!!!, Truthfully….I enjoyed Watching… your Violin SKILLS, DOPE🔥👏🏽… Turn up Bro’….. THE PERFORMER is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥, Lots of RANE Critics Outchea Too!!!!🧐😮💨🤣🤣🤣🤣, and They are Extremely UPSET!!!!!!, but They’ll Get over it…😩😂😂😂OneDay!!!!
Thanks for watching, the feedback, and the positive words! I also have another, channel with more violin stuff if you want to check that out. ru-vid.com/show-UC01s-Lx1ydn0KA8jtbQKNZQ
Nah, man. Keep the deck. Love how you integrated your violin with the entire system. Also, it has dedicated stem controls. The possibilities are endless. So what if it's on the chunkier side. What man doesn't like a little extra meat on the bones. Best controller on the marker. Hands down. Lol.
Hey there! Apologies for the confusion. It seems that some devices weren't properly detected for MIDI out of the crossfader so we are adding a fix in the next update. Thank you for your patience.
I don't see the cons as real complaints. Anyone who's ever really been a DJ when software wasn't around to make you appear to know what you're doing is familiar with carrying around heavy items to do a jam. I see this controller for what it is, a mobile production unit to enhance set. The only real con being that it is a Rane product is that it's not compatible with it's big brother units for expansion. I'm talking about the Rane 12s. No USB hookup for them as your 3rd and 4th deck. That would be a great way to get that "all out" look at gigs. My old Numark NS7iii was paired with satellite CDXs on the ends and it was great for performing big gigs. This deck would be slamming if you had that option. Plus you would figure they would promote unifying their products together. But if that was the case, I guess you could just buy the Rane 4 and hookup additional turntables for a cheaper build. Either way, congrats on your purchase and enjoy brother. The violin is a nasty tool for creating soundtracks btw. I applaud your ingenuity.
Thanks for the feedback. I was really trying hard to find cons, but the decks and dj sets are smaller and sometimes shorter nowadays (2hours and under). I have performed in 3 events in one day and thats where I find the weight to maybe be an issue for some people especially if you moving around in the city on public transportation. Usually I don't but I have in the past. I used to help DJs carry crates to gigs and I can't imagine doing that now lol. Thanks again for stoping by!
I have not seen it done yet as I do not have a Rane performer but the Rane twelves MKII should work with the performer since the mkii has the DVS audio ports on it for connection.
