Karate Kid & Cobra Kai inspired me to learn martial arts on my own a few months back. I will be 30 years old in a few months and now I can do many physical things I never though my body was capable of. It’s never to late for anyone to flip the script!!!!
Way to go man I'm afraid I could not get any martial arts that has quality to teach me but instead I became the ultimate version in swimming which I was already attending to for about 5 years but with less passion less discipline and less interest thanks to this TV series which is really really relatable to your life to all of our lives I was 106 kg but became 72 in 9 months of hard swim practices and became the top predator in the water (in my own opinion tho LOL) But I'd definitely be in top three if ever join a competition of swimming. Now I have a really cool body, some piece of confidence and a smiley face that shows to all my opponents that I shall not give up so easily. Altho I'm not old as you I'm 22 but am glad you also took the productive energy and used it on your life from a TV show that most people just watch and pass by have a great life and peace :)
Karate Kid inspired me to take up karate when I was a kid back in the 80's. Cobrai Kai inspired me to flick beer bottle caps... I'm with you in spirit.
SONG ANALYSIS: To me, this track is not just a training montage, but an actual harmonizing amalgam of the whole Miyagiverse summed up in all of it's duality. You've got the yin and the yang, Daniel and Johnny, white and black, Karate Kid and Cobra Kai, old and new. * The heavy, jumping baseline is the present, being a solid foundation to work on. * The synthezisers are the 80s asserting it's presence despite the times gone by. * The chorus vocals and anything that sounds oriental-influenced belongs to Daniel. * And of course everything electric guitar in here is Johnny. How everything sounds and responds... it's just a beautiful and perfect show of symmetry.
