I've been curious about the quality of Uniqlo items and it was great seeing this try-on video! I'm especially interested in their merino wool and cashmere sweaters, so your review was very helpful! 😊 We don't have a Uniqlo store in our area but I'm planning a trip to Ottawa next May and I'm looking forward to visiting the Uniqlo store there, where I'll be able to try some of their things in person. Thanks for another great video, Sansha! ❤
I love their base layers as well - they are perfect for Canadian winter😊 I wear one every single day during Winter! I think you will love their pieces - lots of basics but good quality for the price!❤️
I ordered the Merino sweater, but discovered it is much too thin to wear a layer underneath it, even my silk knit t-shirts showed through. They are really meant to be worn as tops, directly over the skin.
Yes, they are very thin. I plan in wearing them as a thicker long sleeve t-shirt under blazers and jackets. I don’t always like a ton of layers and this gives warmth without bulk😊❤️
I hate elastane, but it seems to be in nearly everything these days, at least here in the US. It makes woven fabrics pucker and impossible to iron well, and it makes knits clingy and really hard to put on and off. Knits, of any fiber, are inherently stretchy because of their construction, they never need elastane. The first bathing suits, from or example, were made of 100% wool jersey and were very stretchy, I’ve tried some from the late 19th C. Even 1% elastane makes fabrics less breathable, staticky and pick up tons of lint. Details like the tops of pockets will soon stretch out and droop, even if air-dried. But, any items with elastane can’t go in the dryer, they will be ruined, permanently stretched out and baggy. I was so disappointed when Theory, my favorite brand for tailored items, started putting elastane in their wool suits, they don’t look nearly as good as they did. I usually have to shop at Euro brands to find 100% cotton denim, or other clothes. The only reason brands add elastane is to reduce their fabric costs by 1/2 percent, how cheap can they get? Thanks for your review, dear Sansha🙂
I agree Kimberly! Elastane also makes certain fabrics look cheaper. It’s so hard to find any non-stretch jeans or trousers. Same as you, I also go for European brands as they still do 100% pure fabrics (most of the time)😊❤️
Love that your style is elevated but closer to a casual way of life. Very adoptable. I know you have your LTK but what are other ways to support your content creation? Creators like yourself should be encouraged.
Thank you for the lovely comment Tessa, you just made my day! And thank you for the support🥹❤️ Other ways to support me include liking, commenting and sharing my content - RU-vid videos as well as my Instagram content! You are so kind for wanting to support what I do and I so appreciate it!!🤗❤️
Hi Patty, thank you for your comment🤗❤️ I’m not sure if I will do a Walmart clothing haul in future. I don’t have a Walmart near me and I would want to try on some of their pieces at least before buying online. I find shopping for clothes on Amazon such a challenge and for some reason I feel like Walmart is the same? I might be wrong😊 But please let me know if there are any other stores you would like to see a try on for❤️❤️
And you look stunning 🥰😍 glad you found your style and your are wearing it with confidence it really does make a huge difference to your mood feeling good in what you wear I know people call in superficial but it really is important ❤
Thank you Donna! I agree, getting dressed up and feeling confident in what you’re wearing is such a mood booster and can change your entire outlook on life😊❤️
Hi Dierdre! All my outfits are linked on LTK (which I unfortunately can’t link to on YT shorts), and I have linked my profile for you below❤️ www.shopltk.com/explore/styled.bysansha
This is a type of jeans I thought wouldn’t fit me, I thought skinny was the way to go but once I’ve tried it I really loved how it looked on me. They’re a great replacement for the skinnys!
The Aritzia fitted blazer is very classic, it will always look great, “trending” or not. I never bought even one of those huge oversized blazers, this fitted one is a hundred times better!
I love my silk midi skirts, they’re staples in my wardrobe. My favorite outfit here is the one with the dark brown blazer, I would wear that anywhere. It’s great to wear “smart” outfits everyday, everywhere.
