Another awesome episode! Glad to see MVP got to redeem themself! Also, is that magikarp trade always shiny or is it random? I laughed out loud at the name ‘tater trot’.
Thank you Karen! I think the magikarp might always be a shiny pokemon! It's for a high price, which the game usually uses as a mean to give out shiny pokemon :) Haha, glad you like the nickname xD
There are a couple of ways you can do so. One option is to use the ocarina of time randomizer which will randomizer your copy of the game for you! I actually have some long form videos which can take you through the setup! :)
That biker should be in the E4 lol! Dracovish is a beast and I love its derpy design. It’s neat how they made you go back and fight the gym leaders again. I wonder if you’ll have to fight Sabrina again!
Hahaha right? The layers of strategy was impressive! Honestly, I didn't know Dracovish was that strong either, I never really dabbled with the fossils in that generation. And yeah, I love the rematch concept. It gives a feeling of actually challenging the gym leaders at their full potential, and makes sense why they use weaker teams based on the number of badges you have!
Aw, thank you Froggo! Honestly, its such a fun experience, so it makes me smile that you are getting back into it as well!! Reckon you're going to give Radical Red a try?
The makers of Radical Red have basically said they haven't found a good way to make Illusion work in game without completely reworking how the AI works and restructuring the entire data structure of the game. So as sort of a compromise, while the illusion is up, you deal 1.3x damage, but no, they know you are a Zoruark
Ooo, thank you so much for explaining! That does sort of make sense, as I can imagine the coding that would be involved to factor it in is probably more work than it's worth lol. That extra 30% is a nice boost too!
What an intense episode! MVP is the perfect name for Gengar, shame it didn’t get much time to shine against Sabrina though. Also, she didn’t bring Alakazam because she didn’t have a shiny one 😂
Another great episode! Morty was super tough but you crushed him! I like how this mod made Erika harder but I still feel like grass types are one of the easiest to take out.
I kind of agree, especially in the modern era. There is a lot of coverage nowadays! Having a fire flying type really did make a world of difference too! I guess they just have too many weaknesses to common typings?
I love this series but I think slight editing on the gym battles would be nice, it's pretty jarring with the rest of the video. it's not bad by any means, but maybe just slightly edited down might work a bit better. hard to say
@coopcakes It's really hard to say! You'd need to test it out. I just noticed that the first half of the video is a masterpiece, well-edited and scripted, while the entire second half is an unedited battle. However, I do see what you're doing. Getting to see the actual battle is beneficial. But yeah, you could try shortening it, or you could dramatize it and explain the fight. Or maybe a mix of both But in the end, it's your video! I was just giving my two cents
@@CatPeachYT Hmm. I'll see what I can do and experiment with it! I definitely like the live element, but maybe there is a way for me to make everything a little smoother 🤔
@@ThatWelshKaren Aw thank you! Yup, I use AI to get ideas on a face angle and shading, and then looking at that I can draw my own stuff but with the actual pokemon character :)
This made me think of that Simpsons scene where Homer is trying to retrieve the bowling trophy, and the others go "well I guess no one can, RUN!" 🤣 Thanks RMJ!! 🎊
Hey, I enjoyed your video a lot! I really wonder why it hasn't that many views! 😔 I guess you might not be motivated enough to produce more videos about zootr? I already finished some runs but I am always willing to learn to get better. ☺
Aw, thank you so much for the kind words! I am glad you enjoyed it!! Funny you should mention that, I do plan to do a few more videos on zootr related things in the future, as I love the og game! Recently I have been doing tips as shorts, but want to get in some longer form content to help other players learn more tricks too! There are so many cool things in the game to see, so want to share them :) have you just started recently?
@@coopcakes I also found your shorts. They are really well done and informative! I began to play zootr at least a year ago and now I found back to it. I just love that the whole game is one big puzzle in this mode. But I still have problems with routing. I check everything I but I probably backtrack way to often and I feel quite inefficient doing so. I also like to learn some more shortcuts like the block skip in Shadow Temple or basement skip in Deku Tree (even though I still fail those way too often...).
@@tarabaci Thank you!! Oh my gosh, right?? It feels like playing the game all over again, which is just fantastic! Yeah routing is a really difficult thing to get used to. With time, you start realising when it is probably best to move to a certain location to find more stuff based on what you have. Depending on if you have logic or no logic on, it can heavily influence your pathing. Watch this space on how to do Deku Tree basement skip ;) Appreciate you watching all the content!
@@coopcakes I followed so many tutorials for the Deku Tree skip but it rarely works. Maybe my controller is iffy. Recently I started to use the PC port of OoT and I have the feeling that the jumps don't end up where they should. I might boot up my original N64 and see if it works there. 😄
Ah I think you'd do ok! To be honest, its a great way to get a feel for competitive battles without the stress of competitive battles lol! And genuinely, the QoL in the game is just incredible :)
