Few questions. Where did you get the catless downpipe and res delete from? Is there any drone from it? Does it have a good sound to it when your going low speeds. That’s one of my wants for my s5 is to be noticeable when cruising
@@evin3457the DP is from CTS turbo, and res delete was a custom job at a local shop. It does drone pretty bad at lower RPM. Low speed sounds decent to me.
Stock exhaust sounds better than both the m340i and c43, I have a 2019 s5 sport back and can confirm it sounds amazing. C43 might be a tad louder but does it sound better? Hell nah test drove it cuz I was pickin between the both and audi is just too fire and a wayyy better smoother ride kills it in looks as well
I also have same exhaust set up and jb4. I’m considering to install the Catless downpipe but people told me to wait until I get a proper stage2 tune. I honestly dont care deleting the cells manually. Any thoughts about this?
How did you delete them. Just an aftermarket muffler shop and they put pipes in? Or did you buy a mid pipe. They only thing i see out there is an ie midpipe and takes our first two resonators and thats 700$ what did you do for yours?
I mean yeah it sounds nice, but it isn’t much of an upgrade from stock. For the price and man hours, I’d just upgrade to the RS, which I’m planning on doing soon
Currently have the front 2 deleted, was there a big change in sound when you did the middle? Is it still deep sounding? Not worried about drone, thanks!

So stock a4 b9 hits like 5.4-5.6 I think, not bad for the a4 pretty hyped ,gonna toss a tune and some shit in mine and hope to make a budget s4 lol. Also who did you do your tuning with? Is JB4 the company? I was gonna go with IE for my a4, also here ecs and apr aren't bad

I have a B9 S4 Saloon Stock and I did four launches on a flat road in ‘Mexico’ and I averaged 4.1 seconds. I think the 3 big German manufacturers all under quote their figures tbh.
Hi Rc, i have a stock b9 s5 right now and i want to start changing the exhaust notes. Ive been doing some research and i just want to avoid the drone. They say removing the main resonator or the muffler will give you drone. But removing the front resonator wouldnt. So if i get the catless downpipe and remove the front resonator, do you think it can sound as mean as yours? Someone also recommended me to change the exhaust tips. Not sure what difference exhaust tips do thanks again RC
I think there will still be some drone if you only remove the front resonator. But not as bad as removing the main one tho. I suggest you only change downpipe first, see how you like it, and then move on. Exhaust tips I don’t think that will make any difference.
@@HVTCA. pretty much haha. But still depends on the setup, maybe a well designed full exhaust system (form dp to rear mufflers) can handle the situation better. Welp, the price is gonna be way higher than resonators delete...
