i'm having an issue with this, when i do this all the audio sounds double. it stops when i turn off the application audio capture, but then the music doesn't play through my mic
Good question Im unsure and I dont think vb audio cable is compatible with apple software. You would need to find a different audio source similar to vb audio cable that works on a mac.
when go to "install" (after opening the cable_setup_x64 thing) it takes me to a site that says its not secure and I cant go further?? is it safe to use the site 😭 im scared idk bout allat
Would you happen to know why my "Avatars" tab is empty after scanning my cache even though in the "Cache Scanner" tab it says it did found a bunch of avatars?
It only uploads the data to the SARS data base. However due to new vrchat security downloading avatars directly from SARS has been disabled as it has been detected. The developer is currently working on a new method for avatar recoveries. Recocering from cache however is safe
@@sgwigglysquid230 I did manage to make it work. Just reopening the program fixed it, must've been bugged or something. I have a different problem now, though. The avatars I'm looking for aren't there even though there's some others that are way older and they do show up. Do you have any clue what the reason could be and if there is any way to find them?
@sgwigglysquid230 ok, I have the dlc, I just couldn't find the mission. I guess I haven't unlocked it yet, I only have 6 missions unlocked on campaign, project overlord that is.
Hey there. It sounds to me that you have mods that are not compatible with the patch version you are using. If you own the steam version of bonelab you can downgrade the game to whatever version you were on before
tried to follow the tutorial and the audio from the app is coming through my desktop audio (doubling up) instead of coming through my mic. how do i fix this?
I had to help someone with this eatlier. You may have a bad installation of vb audio cable. Go ahead and uninstall the program. Aftwarwards reinstall it, reboot pc then see if that works
Go to your windows advanced sound settings, go to the recording tab, scroll doen till you find the cable, right click it, go to its properties, then click on the listen tab and disable listen to this device
I was using this however it just stopped working for some reason :( everything lights up and the mic works when i talk in obs but it doesn't work in vrc and it is turned to cable
Hey there. Make sure you are going to the right website. Also your anti virus can detect unknown files as false positives. If you want you can add my discord sgwiggly_squid so I can make sure you are installing the right file
this is so much easier than voicemeeter like with voice meeter i turned off my headphones and it took 1 day to turn them back on (this one is kinda hard to manage to ngl)
In obs go to your mic, click on 3 dots, click on filters, then click on the plus icon on the bottom left, then add a gain filter. This allows you to increase mic sensitivity making your voice louder
huh thats strange. make sure that the application you are playing music from is being played on default audio device. you can do so by going to windows sound settings, going to app volume and device preferences, and checking spotify and seeing if both tabs are on defualt
Be sure not to have any other audio sources that are overlapping the sources you are mainly using. Which means chrcking to make sure no other audio source in obs is not playing the same audio through your input
@@sgwigglysquid230 the audio cable is constantly playing all of the audio that has come through my desktop and mic over and over again and overlapping them so its just chaos instead of it just being silent until i play something on spotify or talk through my mic.
@@sgwigglysquid230i only have 1 audio source in obs which is the one this tutorial instructed me to set up, the only thing that fixes it is restarting my pc but after i speak or play audio into my mic the issue starts again
Block the roblox audio in obs by turning off the desktop audio and ensuring that there is no source in your OBS scene that would be picking up and projecting your roblox audio
Hey there. This video is now outdated and the program has went through many changes since I made this video. For further assistance reach out in the discord.
hey ive gotten to around 3:36 and now whenever i try to download the vbcable setup x64 im blocked by opera telling me theres malicious activity on that site and i cant seem to find a way around that any tips? (EDIT! nvm im slow i didnt run it as admin THANK YOU)
I got to about 3:35 in the video then it came up with I need to run with administration. I'm horrible with computers and want to play music in games. looks like a good video and reviews but didn't go over the problems I'm having, now I have a bunch of stuff downloaded I'm never gonna use.
No worries. So the reason we use VB audio cable is it acts like its own audio source that you can use to route audio through. Its safe to doenload and useful for playing music through your mic😊
might just be a me problem but i cant get spotify to show up in the application audio thing. do i need premium or something?(edit) nvm about this actually i didnt click on the thing im a fucking idiot
If it doesnt show up, play a song for a few seconds, delete application audio capture, re add it and it should be there. Also make sure to enable monitor and output again for the source
