Turn right as you come out of Merlin Way and that's my part of The Oval. Number 58! Merlin Way was a great place for playing out and the kids from The Oval, Merlin Way and sometimes a couple from Horninglow Road used to all play together. We cycles around the roads for hours, not many cars - even in this video not many cars cluttering up the streets! We used to muck about 'daan bottom' in the greenery between The Oval and Horninglow Road - we had an amazing Tarzan swing down there! We moved away in '91 (me, reluctantly!) but I always remember living there and going to Hucklow Road school fondly. Great times stomping about the neighborhood just being kids.
Fuck upperthorpe full of drug dealing rapists.. I died there in 2002... They killed my innocence... I was a good guy and they turned me into a monster.
The first minute it's a band called Skindred I can't remember the name of the track. The second half of the video it's a band called Project 86 and the track is called Spy Hunter.
Omg I use to stay here in 1998its so nostalgic I have a nice Pakistani fren next to my door, he and his family owed a sundry shop,i use to go in and borrow Hindi vcr and always chat with him,i think his name is Anwar, omg this is so cool, I use to stroll down the street, I was at Sheffield that time, how I wished he would read this , all of is were students from Malaysia and all had gone back wow
