Superb ,,i never knew it was 100 % anti freeze you added, i thought you added water aswell ? Gonna di my newly aquired traffic 127 sport b4 winter,,many thanks ,,good to see Jason from Take that has found a new job !! 😂
Per the video, it wasn’t full concentration but rather a mixture with water. Normally use 50-50 distilled water and appropriate coolant (G12 spec for VW)
When I reassemble these parts, I always apply a very thin smear of grease to all the screw-threads, the faces and the heads of the nuts. It stops what's called "gauling" (thread damage). Remember, in a couple of years you may need to do this job again, so this will help you get the screws undone without damage. Use your common sense and don't get grease on the discs.
@@dotmanmide The point I'm making is trying to stop the threads rusting (fusing) together over time. Thread compound can do that too but make sure you get some on the bolt faces too.
That was just the radiator drained not the engine block or heater matrix. The old coolant that was in the engine block when the thermostat was closed will still be there !
and when the thermostat actually opens and there's an empty radiator??? - Nothing mentioned about the radiator cap or managing to fill a radiator that won't fill from the header tank..
Euro car parts biggest rip off merchants on the planet sell you Chinese parts for your vehicle at twice the price you can get online just as bad as Gsf car parts making out you get discounts they put prices up then discount you to make it look like you get a deal
Studying at the moment Motor Technology. I am also doing my work experience. This video is just how I was taught in the work experience. Although we did not put grease. Great job 👏 👍 😜
