I wouild have been interested in the project, but unfortunately you used xcb, not x11. In "theory" xcb is better, but xcb code is messy, not portable like X11. The downsides of X11 being synchronous, can be fixed.
@@cococry funny hearing that from you considering how impressive ragnarwm is ive been watching it for almost a year. cant wait to get around to ricing it. cheers bud!
guys make sure if you're using ubuntu you install neovim from snap, not apt. i got an issue because my version of neovim from apt was 0.6.something. nvchad requires neovim version 0.8.0 or greater. also for some reason i had to relaunch my terminal to get neovim from snapcraft to run
Bossman are you allowed to create a second channel that can be monetised, or will any channel of yours be non-monetised? It’s so unfortunate to hear what’s happened with you, especially when there is no reason for it. I hope support gets back to you, your channel is very promising.
1:53:04 that was about to be a canon event, hopefully you had undo tree and didn't turn into a crazy villain evil doctor who wants to burn the world down
I made a very simple text editor in x86 assembly using VBE 3 video mode in 800x600x32 at 140hz refreshrate on 19" CRT monitor with 96 khz capacity for the linear framebuffer in MS DOS with PS2 mouse support(irq-handler int 15h ax=C20?h) and for to draw the ASCII i use the 8x8 character set in bios memory to set 4 pixel for each bit of the character to get a larger character. This is not perfect for the edges of the character, but it is good enough to read. Used documentation: vbe3.pdf, EEDIDguideV1.pdf and Ralph Browns Interrupt List(RBIL).
