Stainless steel brushes are useless on these grates. Use a pumic stone. And why use a non-abrasive sponge after using that abrasive brush on the interior sides? What a joke, but I'm not laughing.
What a rip off, it works once in a while, and when it does it barely has enough heat to cook anything. Igniter worked for a few months, but now you can't even get gas out of it. Weber used to have quality stuff, I hope the C.E.O. is enjoying the bonus he received for turning it into crap. Hate this P.O.S.'you can find it in the dumpster behind my house.
Hi! We are sorry to hear about the trouble with your grill. It's possible that the safety device in the hose/regulator has been activated. To reset that safety device, please check out our blog here: Wbr.gr/Bypass. Thanks!
I have a dedicated smoker and a Weber gas grill. A lot of people don’t want a lot of smoke on their food just a little lick is how i like it. I use the Weber method and it works great. If you use too much smoke you will get an unpleasant bitter taste depending on the type of wood you use.
Hi Matt, It states that you should not close the griddle lid while the burners are on and I was curious what would happen if I were to close the lid to melt some cheese on a burger or something. Thank you!
Hi James, the lid cannot be closed on the Slate. We suggest using a Basting Dome such as this one: www.weber.com/US/en/griddle/griddle-accessories/6783.html
Hi, It says not to close the lid while the burners are on, I was wondering what would happen if I were to close the lid to melt some cheese on a burger or something. Just curious and thank you.
I’m beginning to think you sell high-priced junk. I’ve got a brand new E-335 that refuses to light…on top of the missing parts that didn’t come in the box
I got an E-310 Spirit Classic and the grates are some type of coated hollow metal. I cant scrub with steel wool or anything abrasive, a headache to clean properly (soaking seems to be best result so far). If anyone has experience or advice, Id be grateful.
Hi! So sorry to hear about your grates. We do have other grate options available. Please reach out by phone or email for further assistance 800-446-1071 or support@weberstephen.com. Thank you!
Having used Qstoves+ for a while, I must admit that switching to Asmoke has been a game changer for me. Asmoke takes the grilling experience to a whole new level with its precise temperature control and the convenience of being battery-powered. I find it incredible that I can now grill anywhere I want, whether it's in my backyard or while out camping. I absolutely love the smoky flavor that the wood pellets add to my food, something that was missing with Qstoves+. Not to mention the fact that I can now monitor the food temperature remotely and even share my recipes via the app. It's safe to say that Asmoke has completely revolutionized the way I grill! #Asmoke
my dad had a weber charcoal grill that lasted for 40 years! out of the elements without a grill cover. Stainless steel grates (like they used to make) would be an inexpensive upgrade for the cheap crap Weber uses now. the coated steel grates corrode rapidly.
If you’re going to make the music that loud might as well have used one of my copyright free instrumentals 👀. Also have a good BBQ seasons out there, may your lawn be short, beer cold and BBQs hot 🫡
came here for troubleshooting. good vid. I would like to mention that the ignitor may be covered in carbon and not sparking. I just took a copper brush to the ignitor end of the left burner and the tip is now silver and sparking correctly.
Hi! We are sorry to hear this. We are happy to help. Can you please reach out to us direct by phone 800-446-1071 or email: support@weberstephen.com for further troubleshooting. Thank you!
One of the legs were not matching. Both them were supposed to have 2 holes for connecting to the grill. Only one of them had two holes and the other one had one.
Can you take the back screw holding burner tube on and, unclip the igniter/igniyer bracket and remove tube to do a good cleaning? One of my 3 barely stays lit
@@GrillwithWeber instead of disassembling whole front end like a few videos show, can you unclip the igniter and bracket, unscrew the tube and pull the tube up and out where the cooking area is
Another way to remove the gunk without damaging or scratching any of the enamel is to use a Steamer with the scotch-Brite attachment, without almost any pressure the steam will melt\dissolve most of the gunk\grease within seconds and the Scotch-Brite helps with any stubborn gunk. You'll be done in half the time or faster using a steamer...
