Welcome to madventure, we're MADison and iVEN (okay it is spelled Ivan, but pronounced like VENture) and we are currently living the adventure we have been dreaming of, despite the fact that it makes us sound completely mad. For us that looks like traveling full time and starting our own businesses. For Madison, a former reality TV producer, the dream is the madventure community, a place for people to support one another and find encouragement in following their maddest most adventurous dreams, whether it is buying a car, learning a new hobby, travel, whatever lights your fire! For Ivan, it is creating an engineering product that will change the world!
We are newlyweds and travel is one of our biggest passions, so on this channel we will be traveling the world, and staying awhile to experience what life is actually like living other places. We're excited to have you on board for the delicious, culture filled, madventurous times that will ensue! Let's madventure! xoxo
Sorry, mate, but “Sydney is NOT Australia”….. There are a lot better places to visit than the town that started life as a “home for criminals and bugger all has changed since”….. Grüße aus Australien.
Loved the energy and excitement in this video, but I did cringe every time I heard bondee, cogie and trying to do the Australian accent, regardless, great video!
Sorry you copped the rain & much colder than usual winter. I think maybe Manly beach was where the first WC was held? Great clip, glad you enjoyed. Welcome
It's always funny to me that people visiting Australia call the ibis beautiful and magnificent, when they're known here as a 'bin chicken'. welcome guys
I love watching videos like this..... of people experiencing the city I have grown up in.... makes me realise just how much i take for granted (shame you are here during our winter).... Just a suggestion if you're still here.... take this opportunity to go out to The Blue Mountains (only a few hours away by train from Central) it's well worth it especially at Winter time.... have fun
Thanks for the rec! We definitely need to!!! It's funny the more we travel, the longer our bucket list grows. Now that we've been to Australia we already want to come back when it isn't winter to fully enjoy the beaches!
As an Australian I know Sydney is a shit hole, it has 10% Australians, 30% Asians and 60% Lebanese.. it’s nothing but bitumen concrete and pollution.. if anyone wants to see australia go anywhere but Sydney.. the best way to see the harbour bridge is a post card!..
very nice video, and your happiness & joy is contagious. 8:10 Hue was an economically insignificant place with a sparse population in the middle of the poorest region of Vietnam. But it was selected because Nguyen's first emperor felt slighted by the HaNoi populace, who were still sentimentally attached to the previous dynasty, the Le Dynasty. So, he picked Hue as opposed to HaNoi - the previous capital with the largest population, as well as a center of Vietnam economy and intelligentsia at the time, out of spite of the Northerners. A strategic mistake that led to a fast demise of Vietnam.
Sailing the harbour is the the jewel of Sydney. Cruising if the breeze is too light. If you're in town this weekend both options and a race on Sunday are available. Put your hand up if you want onboard. In the Summer and Autumn pulling up for a swim at Spring Cove, Store Beach or Rose Bay is a joy.
Welcome down under. If you (no doubt) decide to go to the Blue Mountains, make sure you go see the ANVIL ROCK, and do it after 1pm on a sunny day if possible! Sure visit some of the other lookouts but the ANVIL takes the cake! Also look to driving the Royal National Park and down the south coast. Plenty of places to stop and look. If you want a taste see how I took Rob and Charlie of "Charlie & Rob - As We Are" and look for the outer Sydney vlogs that I took them on. Let me know here where else you are headed and I'll drop you some advice - as I have traveled...Enjoy !
You know, rather than photographing the Opera House, you could log on to the website and buy some tickets for something. It's an art complex - there's always a few different things going on.
I could definitely see that. We lived in LA for awhile and it's the same way! The most famous beaches are the worst, I guess the best ones are kept a secret so they don't attract as many tourists haha.
My husband was a tunnel rat. He didn’t talk about it much but the few experiences he did share sounded harrowing. It resonated with him for the rest of his life.
Omg - love your normal, natural multicutural/racial coupley or friendly thing. Yay for the future. And the future of America...fkn hopefully. Cheers from multicultural Melbourne
Welcome to Sydney. Hope you manage to see a few other places while in Australia. Sydney is a key tourist spot but there is plenty more to see. As for beaches, there are 10, 685 beaches in Australia and it would take you 27 years if you visited a different one every day. As it is your first trip you probably would only get to see a small minute amount of touristy things in Australia, and not get to really travel. It not only costs a lot to get to Australia from the northern hemisphere but most Aussies go to Bali for holidays because domestic flights and accommodation are so high. I never heard of that movie with Mary Kate and Ashley. Had to look it up. Sadly the Opera House is one of the 34 Satanic buildings about to be demolished around the world in this war we have been in with the cabal. Other famous landmarks about to be taken down are the White House, Buckingham Palace, Vatican, Statue of Liberty and the Vanderbilt home and many others. I haven't got the list with me. There will be a global EBS soon and martial law worldwide and people will find out all about the 4 wars we have been in - galactic, underwater, underground and COVID. Oh and the real Biden was never your president. He and his son were in Gitmo and executed back in 2018. Different actors played him like Jim Carey and James Woods, and even a robot.
That's literally the point lol. All the stereotypes in one thumbnail, and then showing what it is actually like. No koalas, kangaroos, or vegemite to be found in the actual video haha.
@@letsmadventure I'll be honest with you, when I seen the thumbnail , I didn't watch it. Maybe next time show a place of beauty or something. I'll watch it when I get home from work. Cheers.
Thanks for the feedback! I agree with you, I would be more likely to click that. Funnily enough, this is actually the first video that I tried RU-vid's new "A / B Testing" where I could test two thumbnails against each other. I did one thumbnail with a more beautiful scenery type photo, and this more "cringe" as you say one lol, and it was pretty close, but this one won by like 8%. I was surprised!
@@letsmadventure Don't feel bad. Many have tried and all have failed. Some of the best actors in the world have failed miserably. Most sound like some sort of drunken Cockney trying to impersonate an Irishman. Best not to attempt it.
