A favourite clip I keep coming back to. Congrats. I am interested to know your engineer as I am in interested in a similar design and assecories. Thanks for any information, advice and assitance you can provide.
You seem to be confused on the correct way to sheet in your jib(head sail). I'm thinking that if you haven't already participated in some sort of formal classroom instruction on sailing yet, then it would be to your advantage to do so. The Hobie Getaway is a fun play boat, but it still has an impressive amount of sail area that can get you into trouble in mediocre winds if you're not skilled enough to deal with them. Sheeting in the jib with the windward sheet line tells me you aren't prepared. My response isn't to demean or belittle you. It's constructive criticism that could save your life. Take it as you wish. ☮️

I need some help! I want to add that folding transom seating to my R222, as I got mine without. I think It would just replace my current transom cover. Thank you.
I've always being in love with Pangas!!!! A lot of people laugh at me... To me Pangas are that the VW Beatle of boating!!!!! Very capable boats used everywhere around the world. Saw a dealer here in Florida... By the way guys... Beautiful boat... perhaps one of the best Pangas that I've seen. great instrument selection...
Thank you! The manufacturer was very kind and they were able to engineer and add everything we wanted! It takes us miles offshore and gets us in 2ft of water
Perfect for the conditions here in the Northern Territory of Australia....we get hot weather and short sharp chop which I reckon this boat would eat up! I wonder how much it would be to ship one to Australia?
