I started doing DIYs and liked it. The satisfaction of a job well done just felt very good. So I decided to make videos of them especially on cars to share the knowledge. Coming from IT background where we share our knowledge is such an important culture that benefit everyone. Even if you do not DIY, the knowledge can help you between things like appreciating the work done for you and not getting cheated by unscrupulous mechanics.
I usually frequent local forums : forum.lowyat.net and facebook Prius Club Malaysia.
Jika sumbat cepat enjin crankcase pressure akan naik and sebabkan knock/pre detonation.
PCV lebih baik sebelum OCC. Sbb OCC kerja utk filter udara yg masih kotor. Minyak PCV tu boleh masuk balik crankcase. Kalau OCC di depan, minyak tu semua dlm botol OCC. Kena clear selalu. Lagipun, PCV memang tak biasa clog. Kecuali org pakai minyak quality rendah dan KM tinggi. Sy punya PCV dah 180k km masa sy tukar. Xde sign clog pun.
@@unkertech kalau enjin yg sentiasa dijaga xperlu OCC pun. Tapi valve pcv tu one way n ruang dalaman kecil so kalau kete lama, mileage tinggi Dan byk blowby ianya akan clog kalau posisi sblm OCC . Just nak inform pd mrk yg enjin xberapa elok.
Important steps not done. This is only old school bleeding of brake lines. No stroke simulator, No ABS air bleed, no linear offset calibration, no zero point calibration.
I almost ordered this module as I wanted to install it myself. Now I’ve seen this video I will just spend the €100,- extra and let the dealer do it for me😅
Install an oil catch can in the PCV line. And reduce crankcase oil from 4.4 to 4.1 quarts. This will help keep the engine from burning vaporized engine oil.
Better you confirm it with Mazda in your country. Just tell them you want to install AA & Carplay for your Mazda 3. They will ask you the information needed from your specs so that they can tell you whether it can be installed or not. If they say your firmware is compatible then most likely the device will work.
Happened to me too today, at the end Procedure Fail... I finished after all the instructions and erased all the lights on, wheels on and road tested all fine!
Yikes! This is not good. Yes, I van see how it would cut noise, but if there is, heaven forbid, a puddle and this gets wet, the chances of rotting out your wheel well are high. If there's more than a puddle and you have to drive through weather, like snow and that city drops salt on the roads to control snow, there's 100% chance your wheel wells will be toast. That's why you can't use this externally.
Agree. If was more experienced when I did it, I wouldn't have done it too. However, I was a newbie that time and did it anyway. Till today, 4 years later, it is still going strong. No rot and nothing. And I am in a country where it always rain and flood.
Thank you very much... It was the worst video I have ever seen!!! I feel sick after watching it and learnt nothing from it. I suggest the Oscar rewards for the worst filming ever!
I changed my plugs today using this video as my guide. My Prius is a 2010 with 225,000 miles on it...to my knowledge first change of plugs. I agree...Thanks for the video!!!
You can just replace the screen only provided you are able to get the correct one for you headunit. I actually have done it myself on my unit and it not that hard. Just need to be slow and careful.
Any tips of android auto stops working after a battery change or severe cold weather. Sometimes wheb i plug it in it says use another usb port sometimes it does nothing at all.
looks great... How was it doing the big blue Prius hybrid logo , since it is recessed around the oval ? I am planning on doing my new Sienna with piano black since that is the finish that Toyota uses for the xls trim model. Thanks again!!
The whole emblem need to be removed and sprayed. For the rear emblem, I removed the whole panel which allows access to the back of the emblem from which I can unclip emblem. For front, can unclip the emblem from behind the bumper.
