I was just talking to my wife about making a copper bracelet and RU-vid brought up a video about the ancient people working with copper near the Great lakes. I searched RU-vid how to make a braided copper bracelet and stumbled upon your channel. Love your work and now all I need is an anvil and blowtorch.😂
Where can I get ure phone nr pls I like cooper jewelry I looking for a bracelet and n ring can u make a medic alert bangle and necklace. Pls and thank u Ansie
Looks good on RU-vid🤣 not a wearable piece. The ends will scratch, and irritate the wearer. I’ve made hundreds of twisted wire cuffs. I solder the ends, buff out any sharp edges😎
I have made several copper bracelets....I assure you that if you take care of the sanding and finishing work they do not create irritation or sharp edges. Obviously, for practical reasons, the video does not include all the various finishing phases.
I tried this today with 2 strands of copper wire and followed your procedure. I hammered the bracelet to fit my wrist and all it does is bend our of proportion-the shape is unsustainable. I thought it would be stiffer and hold the shape. Suggestions?
Thanks for the comment, once the bracelet has taken shape the ends will stay in place as if they were welded. It is enough to clean the bracelet with a steel wool every now and then.
I have a copper ring, I paint the inside with clear nail polish to prevent it turning my finger green. The outside tarnishes a little, but normal wear keeps it shiny. If I don't wear it for a long time it will tarnish a bit which can be shined up with brasso, or just wear it with the antique look.
