I bought this eyeshadow palette although I found the colour story a bit overwhelming. but playing with it and experimenting, made me love it more than I would have expected! my favourite shades are 'Beak' (the darkest green) and 'Raven' (the blue), but the star of the palette definitely is 'Raven'. really like the look you created, I will recreate it. :)

I feel like Flower Knows was trying to cater more towards the global audience with this collection, the eyeshadow palette color stories (especially the Fairy Melody global release) were definitely more western-feeling. they also love more pigmented and bolder blushes here in the usa. liked this collection personally, I had to go out of my way to get the Chinese release colors and concealer though. Love u babu!
I see they have been making moves towards global expansion but I am feeling like even their chinese releases have hit a plateau and I am feeling very lost... desperately asking everyone for help lol! LOVE U 2 xo
My favs shades r 2 & 3. I'm olive tone! Awaiting for the new collection, looks promising, the allin drawer is so pretty, hopefully the formula delivers too! On side note, this Midsummer collection is one of my least fav from FK and I've been a supporter for more than 5 years! The blushes & eyebrow palettes r good but others r meh imo. Not sure if it is because FK wanna develop global-limited shades to cater to more thus affecting the actual quality & colour story of the overall collection. 😅
Do you use the all in drawers!! I have a few of them and have never used them... as a long time flower knows fan myself I really want to know in which direction they are heading now.. that's why I want to gather more of everyone's opinion! I feel a bit lost as a supporter which is why I am desperately looking for help lol
@@babubu I do use the drawers! I think aesthetic wise, FK is still top notch which should be one of their direction since they did up their packaging game from the Mermaid collection. Just wish they can do the same on the product formulation.
Hi there. Just found your channel this morning. I’m a fan of Girl Cult so when I saw in my recommended trying new shades from them I had to watch. There was a couple I’m interested in and might buy. Then I saw this video and I love my gray’s since I’m cool toned so I had to click and see. One of the big things I noticed different in this video in comparison to the other video I mentioned is your “freckles “😮. I want to say something and I want you to know that this is constructive criticism. I’m into trying to upset or put people down! Now that I got that out of the way….You’re a pretty girl and I understand that the last couple of years there has been this trend of adding “freckles “ to a face. I don’t completely understand it, but I was born with a face of freckles that I was badly teased about as a child, but that’s another story 😂. I’m not trying to say if women should or shouldn’t do this, but more of that IF that is a look you want and like you need to have a lighter hand when applying it, and to vary the shapes, sizes and shades. Real freckles are many different sizes, shapes and shades. Even though I have freckles I probably couldn’t draw them on myself or someone else without them looking a little weird 😂. They take real practice to make them look good. Your freckles didn’t look horrible but they weren’t very good unfortunately. You could look super cute in them because you have a small face and nose with a cute pixie type look to you so don’t completely give up on them if you really like them. Maybe try watching a few tutorials because there are a few videos out there if girls you have learned to do them really well. And the key work in that sentence is LEARNED! Everyone has to learn everything. So I hope this doesn’t upset you cause that wasn’t my intention. Take care and I’ve subscribed by the way so look forward to seeing more from you. 😊

Not my fav lip product from FK in terms of formula. I've kept shades 02, 04, 05 & 08 for myself (pretty similar to your picks) and my shade 08, the colour & oil has spilt & i always need to shake before use. My lips are darker so i don't mind the pigmentation but the oil/colour spilt issue has stopped me from reaching those shades.
maybe you can contact flower knows and see if they can send u a new one!!! if you bought it on taobao I think they most probably will send u a new one! their cs is always on point!
i bought G05 and G07 and G07 might be too pale for me (my lips are super pale and desaturated). I swatched G05 and thought it was too pink so I haven't tried it out but seeing on you makes me think I might be wrong, could be a great wearable pink for me! But in general I need them to bring back the lip mousses, especially from the Strawberry Rococo and Chocolate Shop collection, I'm more of a matte lip girl.
I totally agree with you. The bottle opening is tiny, maybe so the formula doesn’t leak? It’s an oily-feeling product. Not my favorite. I hope they come out with more glosses like the in the violet strawberry collection.
I bough G09. Haven't tried it yet, as im waiting for my birthday tomorrow to open my gifts to myself. But i hope I like it, it's quite orange so let's see ~~

I love minis to try things out (god knows i like to try pretty makeup too much lol) and people that depot makeup to make small samples are life savers but i don’t usually find them when i’m shopping (granted i only have access to aliexpress and shopee when buying and there aren’t many sellers there that do it). I love the mini makeup brushes too!
ahh excited to see a future haul reviewing taiwanese brands (heme makeup?). i've been so curious about the makeup sample re-panners on taobao. there are some that use the og packaging and split the pans to contain multiple shades e.g. kaleidos eyeshadow, red chamber multi-blush, flower knows highlighter (even kept the embossing!), etc. I almost never finish products so god this is appealing, it's just y'know $$ per g. btw, just to let you know j* is not a person, to put it veryyy lightly, who's friendly to POCs. ik his products are still popular in cbeauty spaces (I'm giving the benefit of the doubt that some things don't get translated abroad), but we gotta let the xiao hong shu girlies know!! 'cause we've cancelled his ass in amurica.
