Are the brakes on the Performance model different from the normal RSQ3? I have seen that there are brake pad sets with four smaller or two larger pads per brake disc.
Hello, do you know anything about front differential maintenance? They say that it should be changed every 60,000 and regarding the dsg dq500, they sold me 7lt, do I only use 6? Or if I put all 7 in when emptying, will it only throw more? Thank you!
Hello, I use 6 l + filter for the dq500 dsg and the mechatronic every 60000 km. I use 6 l and let the DSG come up to temperature, then loosen the filling hose and let it drain until it drips, then put the stopper on. The Haldex is available in a 1 liter bottle from VAG no. G055175A2. And I don't know for the front and rear dif oil, which I have not replaced yet. Kind regards
Exactly the same method as I used here in Australia, used Mobil 1 thou.. doing it myself also gave me true ownership.. thanks for the video too.. nice records
I was under the car today changing the oil and noticed Oil leak. its mostly on the dogbone mount with minimal leaking? You know, any idea what this leaking can be from?
Hello dear, I think it comes from the DSG Filter House. When they replaced the DSG Filter Housing, oil may have dripped next to it. And I think that's what you see. greetings Dirk.
I read on the internet that dq500 needs 1.7 liters of oil. is this correct ? ( or is this for mecatronic ? ) how does air go out when filling oil? does dsg box have a vent valve or something
Hi, DSG + MECHATRONIC use in total 6 Liter DSG Oil. Then the DSG on temp is 35celcius than loosing the drain hose and wait when out of dripping oil than turning stop on. And the DSG have a Vent Valve. I hope this help you. Kinds Regard Dirk
I have a question. From 8:32 to 9:17. What were you doing? Looked like you went through all the gears and counted to 5. Did you do this when the engine was running or before that, and did you put all the oil in before that? Also how many liters for DQ500? Cheers :D
Hi, The oil is from vaico 6 bottles from 1 liter + filter . Than first all the new oil in ,than run the engine while pres the brake and hold ,and than through all the gears and counted 3 sec. And place than back in park. And let the engine run so that de oil temp 35 c a 36 c . I hope its help you.
Durch Auftragen von speziellem BERU ® -Fett auf die Welle und das Gewinde der Glühkerze verhindern Sie Korrosion. You can prevent corrosion by applying special BERU ® grease to the shaft and thread of the glow plug. No moisture can penetrate and the glow plug can be easily removed. Is also available from autodoc. Thank you for your question, I hope you have been helped.
Hello Linus F8, I got this from an official audi garage.(Is on technical data sheet) It's at 150 NM and then 180 degrees and use loctite blue for the bolt. But I did it at 100 degrees, I wonder how they got that 180 degrees is not normal. So wrench on 150nm and then mark the bolt with marker and then turn it up to your 180 degrees. I got to 100 degrees. i hope i helped you. With kind regards Dirk.
This video is great except for one major problem at the end. The torque specified in the video is 150 Nm + 180 degrees. Applying that much torque to that bolt is a 100% guaranteed way to break the key way on the crankshaft sprocket/cog. And not to mention that it probably equals about 400-600 ft lbs in the end. Just stick to the factory spec which is more around 332 ft lbs. The amount of torque on that bolt is over exaggerated.
Just as a pointer... The number one rule after you have installed your new timing belt, you should ALWAYS turn the engine by hand with the help of your ratchet, at least two complete turns. This way you can spot any occurring problem before you try and start it directly and mash it up internally. Take care of your beautiful Urs6. It is priceless 😍 A fellow Urs6 owner and auto mechanic/technician.
@@vwaudiharley1 Crankshaft - OK, tensioner - OK, power steering - OK, from alternator you need to come around viscous fan pulley, then from viscous pulley you go around AC compressor and from there the belt returns back to crankshaft.
@@Martin-tv2px ouh yeah i see it , at 3:08 the belt goes straight down to the crank . It looks like the layout without AC compressor. it was wrong mounted........
