I bought very cheap scissors at a TJ Maxx, my goodness 10 years ago maybe and they still work. They are similar to yours as they have a colored "purpur" handle and a decorative sticker on the blades. No brand name. I hope you have just as much use from yours.
I am so sad that I wasn’t able to make the live. I would’ve loved to have been listening to you on this live cause I have cracked up so much watching the replay. Never in a million years did I think I would ever watch a Scrapbooking video and hear all the poop stories and I loved every minute of it. Kept me laughing while I was scrapbooking. Thanks for keeping it real. 😂
Idk if I was scrapping yet when Indigo & Ivy came out or I missed it because I was still learning about all the things. But, last week I found a 6x6 I&I paper pad at Popshelf & it's so pretty I had to have it!
I love listening to you ramble! This is a beautiful layout; too. My husband and I recently retired. At first we were unsure on how to navigate being at home all day together. We had to learn how to be together and apart. I need my alone time!
Ahhhh! I'm excited that I inspired you in some way! My OCD kicked in a little on the planning. Having said that, I like to scrapbook what's inspiring me at the time rather than in order, so having the pages planned out allows me to jump around.
I saw May Flaum do this on her Maui vacation album. I think she did a vacation album class. She is big on planning the albums out ahead of time. I thought it was ingenious because it gives the feeling of pocket pages, but so much more simple. She also decorated the pages, if I’m not mistaken. I have a few vacations to scrapbook, and I feel behind. So, quick ideas are great!
So I went to schedule an eye exam and it was a video exam??? Like how in the world are they going to actually check out my eyes over a video call. Such nonsense. Need to find another place!
Lovely page! My hubby has a rock and mineral collection. His Mom would go rock hunting with him. There are rock clubs here. We used some of his collection to decoratethe tables at our wedding reception. Rocks live everywhere in our home! ❤
One of my early scrapbook albums was for a trip to San Francisco which included a day trip to Alcatraz. This prompted me to dig it out and give it a look see. Good memories.
Love how you made this all work together. The adhesive issue is getting crazy. I just add extra liquid glue to everything now. Nothing worse then looking through an album and things are at the bottom of the protector or worse stuck to a photo. 😮
