This is a word that modern Greeks often use to describe what happens when you leave a piece of yourself (your soul, creativity, or love) in your work. When you love doing something, anything, so much that you put something of yourself into it."
Let’s play videos were the first videos that I came across when I got on RU-vid at the age of 11 or 12 or so. Now at 24 Michael is to eventually become a let’s play gamer that has a very similar style to older Let’s play videos. Markiplier and Jacksepticeye and PewDiePie where my idols and I still look up to them sometimes I miss all let’s play videos. Thank you for making this video. It was so well done! !
I had some absurdly somber and reflective moments while listening to Floating Trees, which carved a very unique shape in me that only it can ever fill. Definitely one of my life-long favorites.
Till this day i still play minecraft bc of the music (i play singleplayer) and also the random tracks that plays while doing something in the game just hits everytime this proves that the game is not gonna die❤
LOTRO is such an amazing MMO with a small but dedicated player base, the map is HUGE. You can explore for MONTHS and still find new areas to explore. It's one of my all time favorites!
How does such a game perfect itself it grows along with you Man i have loved minecraft ever since i was 5 and now im 14 From xbox 360 memories to pocket edition then to pc Its just amazing this game actually exists
Ive been playing an obj shooter game since about 20 years. It used to be very popular thoussand servers or more, tons of clans. Nowadays there is merely a handful of servers and clans left. Witnessed the slow but steady death of the game over the years. This video reminded me of that. Im sure one day there wont be any servers or people playing left. It is kinda sad
I mean cutscenes arent the only story elements in games. Half life games usually dont have cutscenes and the lore and the story is deep. Modern games have too many. Some modern sony titles have 60% of the main story playtime in cutscenes. that means if they say God of War has X ammount of gametime. You have to actually halve that. And these games arent that long.
I did not expect to come out of this video feeling depressed as shit. I never played ArcheAge but yet somehow I'm sad it's dead. On the plus side, this video reminded LOTRO exists so know what I'm doing this weekend
The CoD part hit me especially hard, but also makes me so happy I got into PC gaming because even when games meet this fate, the fans almost never fail to bring it back and in some cases make it better than ever...at least until Activision shuts them down. For MW1, WaW, BO1, MW3 and BO2 we at least have plutonium keeping the games alive and still having thousands of players, but even thousands is a far cry from when CoD was king of the world. But the conversations I've had with strangers in Plutonium through text chat is a comforting replacement for all the trash talking with strangers back on the 360. I'll always love community modding for that reason, the people keeping it alive and being just as passionate about the game as we are.
That's why I'll never return to play a sony's game. It's so annoying to get forced to waste your time watching a mediocre movie in a walking simulator from a lazy game designer who doesn't know how to incorporate a fun gameplay with an interesting story.
30:47 The city in this flight scene looks visually like Shroud of the Avatar to me. I played it offline, which is,something I always wanted from MMOs, & you wanna talk about a dead city. It had almost no NPCs or Quests.
I'm one of the many broke-ass freeplayers, who left ArcheAge almost immediately when the game catered too heavily to the whales. Went right back to RIFT.
This video makes me sad. its like me with FFXIV, except its not dead, my ability to play it is. They nerfed my first class choice into the ground and changed my second one so much it doesn't even look like the same class. now i'm so far into the game I can't learn a new one so I'm just fucked. Archage also makes me incredibly sad. they could've had the largest, most loyal fanbase in existence and maybe even actually killed wow, but the devs could not stop themselves from making it pay to win and piling on more pay to win with every update.
