Don’t disrespect veeze. 1 he not a new rapper yall just wasn’t hip, he never changed his style of rap to get big. 2 there’s no way yall comparing these to niggas. I fw OT7 but this nigga says the same shi literally and every song has a basketball bar that’s the same “ima shoot this btc til JT in it”.
The philly Corner boy/Car Thief Uniform was definitely Dickie suits and 574s in the 90s, but if you would've ask me the difference between a 574 and a 990... cocksucka beat it😂
Never show your holding hand. Pulling out $ On camera. You just marked yourself for ☠. You're being watched 24/7 now. I'll bet a Philly Gang or local 5-0 comes to get that $. Someone will point you out. 8 ball or not. Keep telling yourself you can't be got.
From Philly born and raised and I would say get us outta here.... We wore everything coming up in the late 80s-90s.... Now some of us wore them in the 90s myself included but it was grey 574s only and it was a small group of us compared to the basketball sneaker, Timbs, Forces, or Classics..... I still wear NBs to this day for comfortabilty and always loved them..... Was out DC a few times and seen alot of NBs on feet....
DMV was doing New balance since the 90s.... If not the 80s. I'm from the burg I was in Job corps in the 90s in Philly... And it was mostly Philly and DC cats... None of us PA cats were wearing New balance then... It was all timberlands Jordans forces... Every DC cat was rocking New balance.
Anyone that does not know this is not in the conversation: The New Balance 995, (NOT THE 996 or the awful 574🤢) is the single most important shoe that CREATED the DC fetish in 1986. Nearly EVERYONE in DC & PG County owned a pair. Anyone that’s never owned a pair of 995’s needs to go stand in the corner and zip their mouth & if you’re not 50+ yrs old, you have no idea how dumb you sound debating 🤐
