I manually place belts because there is a max amount of saved prints. Also the effort of placing them vs creating the blueprint sometimes just didn't feel worth it
Just do the best for you. YOLO - You live only once. No pressure on the decision. No pressure for the people you love. If that's meant to change the direction of the channel - OK. History and science are always great decisions. People who love Beltmatic or such kinds of games probably would enjoy this type of content for your channel also. Do what is best for you, and the people will follow you.
And one tip. Maybe make the titles more attractive like the other content creators. Some interesting names, and emoji( I don't like them, but the algorithm is working like this...) Create only one-time thumbnails for each game and put the text of this video there. For example, auto-making every number in Beltmatic. And just re-use these thumbnails for the game with different text. The algorithm will promote you more often, more people will find you, a bigger percentage of the people who find you will subscribe to you, etc... I enjoy your videos, but I think for most people titles with game names and ep X are not so attractive, and they are missing a lot from your content. <3
Interestingly enough, I did test the thumbnails, and the videos with homemade thumbnails did significantly worse than the auto generated. Titles could use some work, though.
Ok that's it i'm scripting this, I will use something to scan the numbers for "belt" upgrades, and requirements, and the code will automatically build a path that feeds each digit in the machine until it reaches max level.
Hey there, I have just stumbled across your channel. I was wondering what you would say in this video in particular since I saw you uploading long video's really often. Starting youtube is tough and sometimes does not feel rewarding enough. I would like to talk to you about your channel if that is okay with you. Is there somewhere else I can contact you? Hope to talk to you soon!
You gotta start narrating what you do my man, it's very difficult to watch 30 minutes of silence with a couple short burst of you just reading what's on the screen. Let's plays can be entertaining if: You narrate what you're doing and why you're doing it, so that we can get an understanding of an unfamiliar game You explain how it feels to play the game, if it's frustrating or interesting or makes you feel like a God of War or whatever - I wanna know what it's like to play the game, because watching it basically muted for 30 minutes is certainly not fun You make jokes about the game, or other commentary even if it isn't strictly about the game Of course there are other ways, but just to give you pointers. I hope you find your voice and improve as a creator. I had a quick look at the videos you've posted and at the very least you seem to like a bunch of interesting games, some I haven't seen people play, so it'd be fun to watch it. I know this is unasked for advice, feel free to ignore any part of it, or the whole thing. All the best mate!
I wrote a Python script that I'll be using going forward. Instead of cutting material, which I don't want to do, it speeds up silent sections. It dropped a 30 minute video to an 18 minute video.
At 18:35. The answer to your question. I would use storage boxes as switches. If I'm not using a particular number, I would delete the box stooping the inflow. Then add a storage whenever I need the number again.
I went the whole normal game till I unlocked the hard difficulty and then I realized you can compact belts and you can rotate and cut on different levels you can put a belt on the 2nd floor and you can cut rotate and do whatever on both the bottom floor and the 2nd floor
I made a similar system, inspired by one of your other videos. But by rearranging the adders and multipliers I can do without the exponentiators. For example, to make 1234 my system does (((1*10)+2)*10+3)*10+4, instead of 1*1000+2*100+3*10+4 like yours. Saves the hassle of producing 100s, 1000s, 10000s, etc. And it has the advantage that it's very modular: each digit uses the same blocks (multiplier and adder), so additional digits can easily added just by copy + pasting the same thing again.
I saw this game on a different channel and I thought: This game is nice. But there is not much to do after 1 or 2 days. Then, I saw your videos and I thought: Wow this game is great. I should get it. Theeeenn, I saw your recent videos and I thought: This guy did everything that could be done. No need to play. I better watch all of his videos. Amazing job mate, loved it.
I remember the first game, I spent a lot of time playing it on my Phone. The grind in this one is very intense and exaggerated, I wouldn't have that patience. You get a like and a follower for your effort. :)
If you like beltmatic and Shapez, you may enjoy the sweet transit videos as well. It's not much different from other factory games, but it has a cool vibe to it. Made by the same guy that made the trains for Factorio, iirc
I like that you're just chilling with your friends while filming a video, just doing the things you like and having luck is often the key to views nowadays, keep it up and believe in yourself!
