I have tried to contact Martin by email twice in the last 2 months and they have not responded. Took photos of my guitar neck and went to a Martin dealer last week and showed him. He said it was the worst he had ever seen and Martin shouldn’t have let it leave the factory that way. He said he would have sent it back if it came in his store that way.
Very good video, I think using the term pch instead of “1d” would have made it a little easier to follow. Still, very good and I appreciate it. I think I’m close to ordering an E1d
Muchas Gracias for the demo! I am thinking about getting one of these in this finish. What's the strumming tune that you're playing at 4:02 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-LkOw571b3KY.htmlsi=ZxRScLsOHrjfbSUI&t=242
The 3rd generation crafts persons at Martin's Nazareth plant could make guitars out of toilet paper and used chewing gum and they would sound fantastic. Martin doesn't make junk. If they like Richlite, so do I. Thanks for the explanation.
VHT also has the D-Boost, which is the FET boost that was typically built into the amp. I guess the ODS only had them available on a toggle switch, whereas a pedal with a footswitch seems a bit more useful in my opinion.
Hi, thanks for the review, it was one of the reasons I bought the guitar. Did yours had belly buldge while new as well? Aligning ruler with the top at the center of the round part (bottom, behind the pins) of the bridge it hovers 7mm on the base side and 5mm on the treble side from the edges of the lower bout.
I bought mine in 2023 and I can assure you that at least my E1OM is still finished with a nitrocellulose lacquer. It was the last one they had, so maybe my guitar was the last one coming from an older batch of guitars. That I don’t know.
Sounds like a toy guitar for me, and cost double the price of my recording king all solid guitar. By buying this HPL guitars you just pay for the "Martin&Co" name
I just got one today, used and the previous owner put a Piezo pickup on the bridge! I'm absolutely speechless I don't even want to hold it as it's just beautiful. I learned on a steel string Yamaha folk guitar and this is a big change for me (the higher action takes some getting used to as well as the wider fretboard). Yes the tuners are kinda weird on mine too- A string super super tight but it's fine just takes more time to get that perfect pitch. Super happy-first classical guitar and it stands out from all my heavy metal monsters and folk/blues steel strings
2 weeks of owning it and that Damn machine head broke on the A String. String hasn't popped the machine head no longer tensions/loosens. the white rod that fits into the head's slot became loose/sticks out instead of sitting in all the way. I don't know why guitar-shark center didn't fix it before it selling it. It's great they threw in a warranty to waste my time on things they should've fixed beforehand. I hope the next 2 years of my warranty aren't full of headaches. Other than that the guitar is fine. Garbage tuners on my 1C.
