Sure! Nowadays, the first dub of Lady and the Tramp is the only one being used: it's both on Disney+ and sites like Altadefinizione or StreamingCommunity. Do you need any other old dubs?
@TOTO-5 Oh, I thought they had also redubbed it (Lady and the Tramp), well, I'm not looking for any right now, it's specific, but if I ever need it, I'd like to know where to look.
Well, you were right! I meant that although the movie was redubbed in 1997, the redub was only used in two home video issues (1997 VHS and 2000 DVD), and starting in 2006 the original version was restored. In fact, except for the songs, now it's actually harder to find the redub! But if you look hard enough maybe you can find a torrent of the 2000 DVD. If you need Snow White/Cinderella in Italian, or other movies in different languages, I might be able to help you :)

Well, at least you're getting a stage adaptation (and possibly a cast recording?) In Italy we're not getting anything, which is disappointing but also relieving given the standards of lyrical adaptations over the past decade :(
@@KubaTheDisneyKing I really hope Wicked gets a Hungarian stage production at some point! That might be the only thing that could console me if they don't dub the songs for the movie.
This movie will have Polish dub! But unfortunately, trailers in Polish are only released in theaters, and probably the songs will not be translated ): (What a shame, many Poles grew up with Polish covers from Studio Accantus)
It will? That's unexpected, isn't it? How exciting! I love the Accantus versions, tho they probably couldn't use them since they aren't official :/ Have movie musicals ever been completely adapted in Polish (songs & dialogues)?
@@TOTO-5 This is very unexpected, and that's why I'm very excited about it, recently more Polish dubbed live-action films from Warner and Universal have started to appear (Barbie 2023, etc.). Of course, I know they couldn't use Accantus' version, although I guess they could buy the lyrics from them. Anyway, I can see that a lot of Poles would like the songs officially in Polish, and actually they will get them although not in the movie - the musical Wicked is due to hit the Polish Teatr Roma next year and the songs are to be translated by Wojnarowski (Polish Disney song's translator) I'm not sure, but in most of the live-action films based on Musicals that I know of, the songs were not translated (for example, "Annie") but the songs were translated when the film was an animation (for example, "The King and I"). I'll admit that this is a difficult question, as I need to do more reaserch

I've been waiting years and it's finally (almost) here! I sense a hint of sarcasm XD Fabi (Brazilian Glinda) is growing on me fitting-wise, but Ceci doesn't match Ariana's face at all 😂 ofc the singing is gonna make up for it
Ammetto che avrei troppo voluto sentire Margherita de Risi cantare, ma accetto anche le canzoni in inglese dai, anche perché non so che buon lavoro sarebbe potuto uscire fuori (nessuna frecciatina ad un film animato uscito a dicembre 2023, assolutamente); però una parte di me mi fa pensare che se le avesse adattate la brancucci avrebbe potuto fare un egregio lavoro sul labiale live action, come quello che ci aveva proposto per Aladdin versione 2019… questo conflitto interiore XD
Il mio conflitto interiore alla Jekyll e Hyde va avanti dal primo trailer XD Sììì, è un peccato non sentire Margherita De Risi (la immagino su Popular), ma allo stesso tempo amo i testi in inglese quindi non posso dirmi deluso (di certo lo sarei se fossero adattati male). La Brancucci ha alti e bassi da far venire il mal di mare, già in Encanto, oltre che in Aladdin, era spanne sopra i suoi ultimi lavori. Magari, col giusto tempo (che dubito le avrebbero concesso) avrebbe fatto un bel lavoro stavolta. Degli adattatori che stanno lavorando negli ultimi anni, però, avrei adorato sentire le versioni di Rossa Caputo (che è anche fan del musical).
Non sapevo avrebbero doppiato le canzoni... Per ora la tedesca è quella che mi piace di più, ma è solo un piccolissimo estratto quindi non si può dire molto. Carino che abbiano chiamato le attrici originali messicane e brasiliane a doppiare, anche se non so quanto si "attacchino" al viso di Cynthia e Ariana... Vedremo! Spero che in Italia lascino le canzoni in inglese, non tanto per le voci, che potrebbero regalarci delle perle, ma un possibile adattamento italiano mi spaventa (visti i precedenti xD)!
D'accordissimo su tutto! In Italia continuano a pubblicizzare il film con le canzoni in inglese quindi possiamo dormire sonni tranquilli 😂 E poi i tre paesi che hanno doppiato le canzoni avevano comunque già un adattamento pronto (e oggettivamente credo che coi tempi stringenti del doppiaggio adattare tutto Wicked sarebbe un po' arduo). Io sono sempre per il doppiare/adattare tutto, ma se la qualità è quella di Wish o di Caro Evan Hansen preferisco i testi a cui sono affezionato. Peccato per le nuove voci che avremmo potuto sentire (a partire dalla stessa Margherita De Risi su Glinda) :(

The hype is HIGH Myra fits Cynthia's Elphaba to a T and Fabi is the bestest Glinda of all! I'm slowly getting used to hearing her on Ariana's face (the fact that I rewatched the Brazilian trailer 10 times might be playing a role in that😅) CanNOT wait
I'm glad the songs are getting dubbed in Spanish, but the acting for the leads is... ugh. Danna is acceptable most of the time but I guess only Disney can get her full acting potential. It's still a nice detail they got the actresses from the play though.
Hmm they could have picked two separate voice actresses to do the speaking parts (especially Ceci who I don't think has ever dubbed anything). I would've like the same for the Brazilian dub: as much as I'm glad to hear Fabi again (my favorite Glinda ever), I'm not sure she fits Ariana's face either. But still it's an exciting comeback, so I'm not gonna complain that much (or, at all)

@@TOTO-5 Haha I did _not_ know (the musical never came to Spain and I don't like to watch musicals for the first time through recordings), but I stand by what I said! Ohh, yeah yeah, Japan might! And I'm guessing we might get a few more, but seeing as these are all the versions we have so far I don't think we will get that many, sadly :( Universal + musicals is an unpredictable combo in Spain as far as I know, so there is still a tiiiiiiiiiny bit of hope, but I don't think the songs will be dubbed tbh. Hope I'm wrong!
Oh, so this movie's gonna be your first introduction to the musical. I'm so excited on your behalf lol Universal musicals are unpredictable lowkey everywhere... Dear Evan Hansen was dubbed in various countries, but then again Mean Girls wasn't dubbed anywhere. But who knows?

Yes, even if it's not Sabrina I'd love to hear new voices for our two witches. And it would've been a pity not to dub the songs when the (lovely) German lyrics are right there!
@@TOTO-5yeah I was just very excited to hear Ari as Glinda and I think it’s going to be a bit weird for me to see a different voice on her, even if it’s just the speaking voice. Unfortunately I don’t know the actor for Elphaba. But still super interesting. Btw I 100% know the speaking voice for German Glinda, I heard her many times in movies or series before. I just forgot her name and who she dubbed, but if I remember I can tell you who it is 😂 Ok Update: I think I remember who it is, I am pretty sure it’s Lea Kalbhenn
I did this real quick so I only checked the trailers from countries that always dub movies... it seems Italy, France and Spain are leaving the songs in English. I was also hoping for more languages but I doubt it: unlike the versions in this video, they'd have to adapt the songs from scratch. Anyhow, I can't wait to listen to the voice of my beloved Ariana in the theatre, while also finally hearing the iconic dialogues in Italian. I'd rather have _these_ songs in English than with poorly adapted lyrics anyway, as it's been often the case lately :(
At this point, the film is already being dubbed around the world. The Brazilian dub was finished two weeks ago or so. Italy and France continue to feature the songs in English in their respective trailers, and I doubt they'll dub them anymore, unfortunately. We'll see about other countries.

@@TOTO-5 Hmm, I wonder if there will be Korean songs. Park Hye-Na (Elsa) was Elphaba in the Korean stage version of Wicked. It would be amazing if she came back for this movie. Well, in Disney movies they have to adapt the lyrics, so I don’t see what the big excuse is here 😂.
I'd love a Park Hye-Na comeback! A Japanese version is also possible IMO Sure, Disney movies always get adapted, but that's because they're (at least theoretically) aimed at kids. And people would probably riot if they stopped adapting them haha. This movie is aimed at older audiences so it will most likely only receive dubs from "regulars" (Italy, Spain, Germany, Latin America...). Considering the fact that Wicked isn't as well-known in countries where the musical was never performed, I'm under the impression that they're gonna market it, at least in part, as the "Ariana Grande movie" to bring more people to the cinemas. So a lyrical adaptation would: 1. disappoint the ones who only go to see it because Ariana is in it 2. require extra time (which is less and less in nowadays' dubbing studios, and would make such a complex soundtrack really hard to adapt properly) and money (adapters and singers) If, let's say, France or Italy wanted to dub the songs, they certainly could. But the effort isn't sure to be repaid Sorry for the long reply 😅 BTW I'd also like to see more dubs of the songs (_if_ done properly) but I hardly see it happening :(
@@TOTO-5 I personally would rather have poor lyrics for my native language than have the songs be left in English. I'm really hoping that the reason the dubs that didn't have a stage version left the song in English for the trailer is just that the lyrics aren't finished yet, not because they aren't going to try at all. I'll be very sad if they don't dub the songs in the movie.
I was really hoping to see the sequel to Little Mermaid 2, but unfortunately, that never happened. The storyline for Little Mermaid 2 was very good in my opinion, but the movie was nowhere near as popular as the original. That probably explains why there was no Little Mermaid 3.
Hi! Good to see you as always :) I unfortunately have no idea XD You see, the dub was done in Milan (instead of Rome like 99% stuff), and the name of Pear Butter's (?) singer hasn't been stated anywhere that I know of. Most of the singing in the cartoon appears to be done by other voice actors from Milan (not professional singers like in Disney dubs), but I'm not a fan of the "Milanese style" so I can't recognize any of them, let alone if they've remained uncredited :( P.S. if you're wondering why the movie had voices like Renata Fusco's, that's because, in that case, it was a Rome-Milan collaboration
