Dealing with someone who is a perfectionist is so difficult. It takes years for them to make decisions, and you just kind of learn to get out of their way because your just afraid of waisting time trying to please them. You feel like I can't talk rationally to them or even have a say at this point. I'm driving myself crazy engaging.
what's the forecast on antisemitism on campus by staff, faculty and students? Will UCLA be refunding all tuition from Jewish students and returning all donations from jewish alumni and donors? What is that financial impact?
Tony is a great guy but he has been uncomfortably coopted into supporting the strategizing of business school curriculum. the MBA is not a social studies program, rather it is technical training for how to run a business. Those foundations, combined with good experience, result in good managers, who can lead if the opportunity arises.
I’m 57 years old. My memories are of you and Magic battling the Celtics in the mid 80s, and there was no greater entertainment in sports that I could think of. You are so much like John Wooden, Equally outstanding off the court as you were on.
Melody❤l love you Girlfriend 💋 😘 your my childhpood hero. I honor 🎖you on today. I appreciate ALL value you contributed to the financial industry and the non-profit world 🌎. I met you back in 2006. 16:18
Boy, that’s a bait-and-switch title. There is no alternative fuel value in Hydrogen. It is violently explosive, nearly impossible to contain and extremely low density in gaseous form at reasonable pressure. And worse, in the real world, it’s just an inefficient reformulation of methane. Better just to burn the CH4. A few academics get little pots of money from big oil, which has lots of methane as a byproduct (or drills for methane with similar drilling equipment to oil). Big oil wants to sell the same crap they are always pedaling. Big oil gets false “green” narrative from paid academics that take policy focus away from real - and superior- economic substitutes like solar PV and big wind turbines. Ugh. Machiavellian fossil fuel companies + desperate academics = bad research and worse public policy :(
Not sure why she blamed England, if we hadn't had stood up to the Germans, we'd all be under the German yoke today and no one would have been liberated, because the USA didn't want to know until 1942.
INSTEAD OF ROTTEN COMMON FILTH CALLING ME VAIN , YOU HAVE A REAL PROBLEM WITH THE IMMENSE ENCROACHMENT OF THE CRIMNAL PORN TEMPTING ME WAY BEYOND WHAT IS LETHAL ENDANGERMENT IN AN ETERNAL EFFORT TO DESTROY PEOPLES' LIVES . IN AN IDLE MINDED MEDDLESOME MESSED UP COUNTRY LIKE THE U.S. THIS IS FODDER .
My dad did dredging operations on the Panama Canal in the late 1940s. The reasons for not enough water to run the canal are: -The old canal is running at max. The wider canal, although efficient uses water for Neo Panamax ships. Thus the canals are using more water. -Gauntune Lake relies on the watershed around it. When built the watershed was protected from development. Hydroelectric dams both conserved the water and supplied the canal with electricity. - the dam system supplied water and electricity to the cities. - when we gave the canal zone to Panama, the protection of the watershed was not protected and building and clearing started. At the same time the population grew. Putting more demand on the water supply and electricity. With increasing demand, destruction of the watershed, one did not need climate change to cause the current problem
The emphasis in the curriculum seems disproportionately on data analytics compared to business analysis, which doesn't fully align with advancing to higher career roles in my view. Although there is an attempt at balance, it does not adequately prepare students for ascension to more senior positions. The programs for product and project management are taught at a basic level, which leaves students perpetually seeking additional qualifications to progress. The educational approach appears to cater to a lower level of complexity than required, focusing narrowly on immediate job functions without fostering the skills necessary for future advancement.

In the summer of my sophomore year '70 in a Southern California high school, I had the great privilege of attending John Wooden's invitational summer basketball camp with all of his assistants and the, then, state champion high school coach (Pacific Palisades High). Coach Wooden started the camp with a dissertation on how we should put on our socks and basketball shoes. He first ordered us to take off our shoes and socks. Then directed us about how to put them back on and why it was important to create the foundation of our feet to avoid blisters and injury. He related the need of the feet to offense and defense in the game of basketball. He obviously wanted to break down the egos of all of us so that we would be willing to accept the fundamentals that we would be introduced to over the next week. I am convinced this was the exact base of his championships, since all of his teams had to go through the same process.
