The only reason renewables are "less expensive" is due to massive government subsidies funded by taxpayers. Without those subsidies they are not competitive with fossil fuel generation (particularly LNG).
Kohler Crap I just pulled out 2010 Kohler 18RESL with 240Hours unrepairable! If you want t keep replacing them every 10 years- Kohler way to waist your money!
I had lost power in Rhode Island for 29-30 hours just over a day cause of the storm Henri. The generator helped me and my parents get through the outage!!! Thank God for the generator!!!
Moltes Gràcies per el vostre vídeo! Podeu trobar tots els generadors a www.ovalenergy.com amb stock a Catalunya de totes les potencies, monofàsics i trifàsics.
@NonyaBusiness! Well, So far we have only needed it once in a power outage for 31/2 hours. We just got it in June, So far no problems ... I look forward to leaving updates in the future good or bad.
I always buy what is considered commercial as things that are targeted for home are not so good. Most people don’t want to spend the money up front so they don’t have stress later.
@@sturmbreakers7817, So far not bad. We haven't had any stress at all. We're looking forward to winter as the seasons move along but if anything changes, for better or worse, I'll post about it. Thanks for responding.
Awesome that you come and look at the unit twice a year. How often should the oil, oil filter, air filter and spark plugs be changed? If it only happens every other year is there a price increase on that year?
@NonyaBusiness! I always use logic. You used a false analogy based upon pure speculation. Installing these types of generators if you do not have a medical need or weather related issues is stupid. Now disprove this using logic or comment to another person.
sorry to see they didn't give you an explanation and he basically just explain. how it works either it's controlled by a computer system or by an individual. but if you're going to have generators in parallel or in parallel with the grid. You are going to have a licensed electrician on site.
Kohler is very good quality. I've been reading reviews at several sites that sell generators. Some customers had serious oil leaking issues with Generac equipment, but I couldn't find one negative comment about Kohler.
We do not use AC, nor a hot wáter heater, nor a heating system. We would need a unit just for basic appliances, lights, computers. What size would we need? We would want to run it all the time. Jaime 630-701-6725
Por que se congela el gas cuando opera por mas de 12 horas de funcionamiento con una carga de 50% .Soy de Ecuador y los problemas son muy continuos con estos generadores.
Depends on multiple factors but mainly on the size of your main utility feed. 7500 sq ft is large so you may have a 400 amp or a 600 amp or an 800 amp main utility. You can still have a whole house fully automatic standby system but it will just cost more. Interested? I'm with Buckeye Power. Call me at 317-223-9862 and I'll make sure you get the necessary info and pricing. Thanks. Derrick
@@TheMickeymental OK I will bite, I live by the Gulf Coast in Texas where we have frequent hurricanes and power outages, storms, etc. have a 1400 square foot house 2 ton AC how would this be a waste for me?
