Sound design is an underappreciated part of video games. Here, we celebrate it. Enjoy the best soundscapes, ambience, and ASMR from all around the world of gaming.
This game had its flaws but I have always appreciated how immersive it was. The sound design and visual atmospheric elements such as the blowing trees really sold this game. It always felt quiet, a little too quiet which is what made it unsettling. I always felt like I was being stalked by something and lo and behold sometimes I was. For that alone, I was able to look past the flawed survival systems and it is genuinely one my favourite survival-craft games I've played to date.
It's so good to work under these sounds... It's funny if you read in the description of the creatures in the game where the flies come from. A slightly creepy story. Thanks for the work! Под эти звуки так хорошо работать... Это забавно, если прочитать в описании существ в игре, откуда берутся мухи. Немного жуткая история. Спасибо за труд!
Great Video. The only thing wrong is it is not Hirschfelden, but Layton Lake District as at 9:02 you move into Balmont Lake. Balmont is in Layton Lake District not Hirschfelden. The ambience is one of the many reasons I've sunk many hours into this game. Keep up the great work.
Agreed with @LukeAps here The strength of TF29 is being reminded by all the frantic chatter and orders being shouted at agents half a world away, that these people are under constant stress to keep what's left of peace and order under control.
Most small towns had one saloon but bigger ones had two or more and some were plain saloons and others had casinos and others had billiard tables and dartboards and others had a stage for dancing girls and all of them had pianos and had the best piano players most were from big cities and had no place for the music they played and the small cow towns were where they found success, It's now night time and as you can see here that is the best time for business as everyone has gotten off work and are ready to unwind and relax well g'night y'all. (don't pay attention to the gunshots they are a normal thing here).
So I absolutely LOVE this! Would it be all right if I use a few of these scenes in my upcoming intro/outros for a playthrough series of the forest? I'd definitely credit you and make sure people have access to your link. Let me know!!! I would be honored to be able to use these beautiful sights and sounds.
thats actually there to sort of trick you during a match, they have several sounds in fact that can closely mimic the sounds of other players if you aren't being quiet enough to hear the difference. I trip out sometimes and stop and listen to what i think are slow footsteps, only for it to just be wooden shutters moving in the wind on a nearby house or building.
The pinned comment in this linked video has a list of the piano songs used in the saloon. Glad you enjoyed the video! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rtcqK2Bnxt0.html
Такое чувство, что вот-вот заорёт абориген или завоет мутант) Не могу отделаться от этого предчувствия. Однако даже сами звуки природы и окружения очень атмосферные.
Just finished completing the game after not playing it for a year or so. Thank you so much for your time and effort for this, it’s amazing! 2021 the forest 2 is coming out! 😁
Thanks, nice try. You should really have had more sounds of the main area, with the agents talking and all that as the bulk of the video. The side area ambient is a good choice... but it's not the heart of TF29. And the buzzing sub sounds really get to me.
