I either overload my backline and use by GK to have more numbers or overload my attackers to keep the ball

You need to create space by moving and dribbling not with passing , they covering passing options not your player

I used to be a tiki takka merchant in fifa 18 however the game has become worse over time thus making metas overtake the game

I don’t usually sprint with my players when dribbling and hardly you skills because I’m no good at them. Tiki Taka actually does okay in champs though haven’t played recently cause I’ve been busy just higher quality players who can read the passes easier.

I understand. It’s hard playing fifa cause I lose so many games I should win. might as well lose having your style and having fun.

Thanks for the comment! The aim is to move into space and make a triangle as it is the best for tiki taka. I mostly move into the space manually though R1 and L1 help to find open players when attacking and call them short for simple passes. And try putting less power on passes when doing short first touch but when looking to stretch the field press R1 when you pass for a driven pass (makes the pass faster and firmer)

Really good! Let’s the CM run into the box whilst the wingers and fullbacks make runs near the sideline. Amazing passing option aswell. I recommend a physical player like lewandowski and Haaland (also must have good passing.)

@@tylernoble7927 I am on next gen too with similar set up as you. Instead of 433(2), I use 433(5). With both fullback join attack, I find it really difficult to deal with the wingers of 4321 and 4222 especially in higher division. So I am trying to put CDM drop between defenders and one CM stay back. But I miss the CMs scoring goals.

@@tr1st4nwon96 ​ my best tip is to keep you cdm on stay back if they are on drop between defenders you have no passing option in the middle of a your cb and cm you can also keep one fullback on stayback for defensive cover to make the back 3 whilst still having a cdm. Remember our setups are always gonna leave us with vulnerable defenders. That’s why it’s important to play possession as it gives less opportunities for your opponent to score.
