Thank you! It depends how your paper reacts on resin. Usually there is no problem. I was planning to cover with resin but I didn't have enough at that moment, so I used varnish.

Love them I made some but using cardboard coasters I had I'm sure they come out nicer on wood. Do you find a difference from using triple thick to using dura clear gloss varnish?
I prefer dura clear gloss varnish, because it's thinner, better on the surface, does not crack, does not leave the stripes. But it's my subjective opinion. I think triple thick is better on smaller objects, like earrings and pendants.

Thanks for the comment. I try to combine several tapes, from narrow to wide. My designs arise spontaneously. I leave a little space between the stripes, sometimes up to 0.5-1 mm. But sometimes I glue the stripes close to each other.
Oh wow, you are such an inspiration! Your jewellery is so gorgeous. I agree that Temu scrapbook paper is so much nicer than Amazon scrapbook paper. I have done a lot of decoupage earrings using Temu scrapbook paper and love the results. I don’t use UV resin, however, I only ever use Mod Podge. I find that Mod Podge Dimensional Magic gives a resin like finish. Did not have problems wit darkening of colours. I love your enhancements with the paper lace, too. That has given me more ideas! They are so gorgeous! There are so many possibilities with stickers like this! And I have also recently tried rub on transfer stickers from Temu with great success.

Yes, I love washi tape for my wooden jewellery, you have inspired me greatly. I cal also say that washi tape works very well when you use it with pendant trays made from metal with the glass cabochons glued on top (or UV resin).
@@OberezovArt You will love that. I made so many pretty bangles with the bangle blanks and glass cabochons, with the washi tape simply using Diamond Glaze or Mod Podge Dimensional Magic. The dimensional glues really make the washi tape shine beautifully under the glass. It’s very easy to find bezel trays and glass cabochons on Amazon. Like I said, I am now doing wooden jewellery because you are such an inspiration. I think you are brilliant and I love you Channel. Take care ❤️

Thank you! It's a very tricky question. There are several factors that I consider. First: the age of possible buyers. Most teenagers do not like epoxy coatings, but prefer something simpler. Second: the size and material of the jewelry, and the effect I want to achieve. For example, studs 1 cm or larger look better with an epoxy coating. I cover smaller sizes, especially for children, with cheaper substances .Some surfaces are matte, but I want to add shine. Then I use epoxy or mod podge. Epoxy does not work well on vinyl and plastic. It can also damage the paper, so sometimes I coat with mod podge first and then epoxy. In a word, this choice is not easy, but with experience it becomes easier.
Hello! I haven't come across these types of tapes. If it is fresh paper, not overdried, then it sticks very well. I also often use mod podge to coat the top, which goes through the thin paper and makes it stick better.
