Gliding videos and soaring videos from Bruno Vassel IV (B4) flying ASW27B, ASW20B and Phoebus sailplanes (gliders) mostly over the Utah, Idaho and Wyoming mountains.
Yea you live and you learn. I don't think the FAA was being overly strict. Air shows used to be pretty dangerous events to attend. Since the rules and regulations inacted by the FAA there's been very few fatal accidents in air shows. I'm glad you got to keep your license! Happy flying!
That's an example of a high speed approach my friend .. Even a helicopter floats it it's got enough speed.... An real example would be 2 approaches at the same speed ... 1 bleeding airspeed off at 3ft the other at 50ft and compare the touchdown point on the runway..
Very fair questions. The airshow people asked me to perform. The FAA didn’t like what I did and said the airshow people did not have authority to grant me permission to fly.
If you're asking me that's the way to go, just me and my little stick..."Not in a racing mode no reason to go so...fast, strong winds....getting blown left and right...not sure if I can roll...tail back so I can control....fun stuff" 😇🙂
That was amazing . The air show people should be held responsible for telling you to preform . That is not okay . You are extremely talented and people make mistakes . Bravo brother and god bless you .
Nope. Gliders can ride on uplifting currents of air and actually climb. That is why we can fly many hundreds of miles per flight. Watch the video and you will see me climbing.
I've never flown a plane or a glider, but I knew exactly what you were doing wrong just by my many years of flying airplanes in video games. (Mostly GTA) 😂😂
I’ve been flying paragliders for about 5 years now. I’ve busted my shoulder playing tennis and I’m not sure I’ll ever get back to paragliding. I am seriously interested in gliding.
