My Bolt Carrier group keeps locking back if I pull the charging handle while magazine is inserted into the mag well. The only way it go into battle mode I have hit the thumb paddle to send it home. I should go into battle mode when I pull the charging handle.
@germondtuggles1848 The ar is designed to do this. It is called the last round bolt open. If you have an empty mag in the follower on your magazine will hold the bolt back as intended. There is nothing wrong with your rifle.
I tried 3 different rock slides they all were out of spec in one way or another. One wouldn't fit the barrel through front of slide. They were cool about returning exchanging them all but none were usable. I went back to spectre like my first 45acp slide I built and had no problems. I now have 2 spectre and 1 hooper gun works slide on my built 45acp p80 glocks I also have 2 Guncrafter Industries 50gi slides all 5 are amazing. It is pretty easy to find quality parts to build a 45 acp glock it's just not cheap

Shout out from San Antonio. I can't get through the first step of disassembly to clean. Took out retaining pin but the circular piece of metal won't come out so I can access the bolt etc...
The circular piece of metal is it the part that the retention pin sits on or the back plate of the upper receiver? If it's the pin that the metal pin sits inside, set the pistol on a roll of duct tape and tap the pin through with a mallet and punch. The roll will make sure you don't lose the pin that secures the upper to the frame
Could be the extractor but not always. Most commonly what happens is the firing pin in inserted wrong. Make sure your cam pin is out (downward position) when you insert your firing pin and then push it in and insert your cotton pin
Great little firearms I have the original hammer fired lc9 and the ec9 s on Monday was at my local ffl the had a used lc9 s pro for 230 out the door so it is now in my rotation. With the other 2. It’s great that they share mags.
The reason I have the Judge by my bedside is because it doesn't go through walls with shotgun load so you don't shoot your family. I am reconsidering using shotgun defense shells. I also have it in the car, which is what it's made for.
Yes put the stock fully forward. I have had this happen with a new rifle build. also with brass that was too large for the chamber. and a shooter next to me had the same issue. Consider using a pad or soft surface.
Delta Team Tactical has basically everything for extremely reasonable prices, I've turned to buying components from them as they're only maybe 70 miles from my home and they ship so quickly it's mind boggling! .50 Beowulf is a sweet cartridge, bought an Alexander Arms upper the same day OBUMMER was "elected" the first time😂. I only use STANAG metal mags for the .50 Beowulf. Elander mags so far have completely scored and destroyed all the cartridge casings from my new 6.5 Grendel. Luckily I so far have only burned through Wolf steel casings and didn't try the good brass loads yet. I thought that maybe it was a chamber issue with the BCA upper but I tore it down and visually inspected it and didn't see anything that looked wonky, so the magazine seems the likely culprit. I expect the springs just need to break in a bit and it'll be good to go. I will just use the 100 grain Wolf steel cased ammunition until I no longer see the scoring on the casings then will dial it up for the 123 grain match ammunition for shooting to a 1,000 yards. I'm honestly really impressed at how light the Pro2A .350 Legend rifle is even with the 18" barrel. It's lighter even loaded than my "lightweight go to war Centurion CHF 16" pencil barrel build" of course it's got an MOR PRO and a 1.5-5 magnifier and an Olight Odin flashlight plus a 45° laser backup now. It's 10lbs loaded😮.
I bought a complete 18" barreled .350 Legend AR-15 from Pro2A I haven't had much time actually firing it but so far it's functioned flawlessly. I just added an inexpensive 1-4 Northtac LPVO on it considering the cartridge isn't exactly an effective long range cartridge but within 250 yards should be more than capable to drop most deer and hogs(I've never hunted hogs to date) someday soon I hope!

I have the 3 inch and I have the 6.5 inch and I'm gonna tell you for home defense I only use the 3 inch but when I'm in the woods and I have to deal with coyotes and other creatures that 6.5 is my friend I did spring swap and I also did a grip swap on both way better gun after both were done
Been shooting AR15's for 20 years, never had this happen until today. I didn't think I'd get it unstuck. Oh yeah live round in chamber. I mortared that bitch on rock until it came free, totally forgot to collapse stock, whoops. Rifle fired fine afterward even with rapid fire mag dumps. I'm blaming the reman 5.56 I bought. Any thoughts?
I did not know that this was called mortaring. My bolt was stuck after a LONG period of non-use. I was truly freaked out and thought I'd have to take it to a professional armorer! I wasn't aware of this great tip at the time. I was lucky that persistence won the day. My issue was that the bolt cam was sticking. Maybe insufficient lubrication? Not sure. I will remember this if it ever happens again.
Have to compliment you on your shooting Brother, your an awesome shot with that snubbie, we all know snubbie shots are a 50/50 less your 1/2 inch from target, course I’ve never shot a snubbie with a rifle barrel, but even then like you pointed out the gun barely fits in your hand, so mad respect on your shot groups. I’m a fan of the judge, I’m saving up the get the survivalist raging judge magnum revolver that comes with a thicken revolver cylinder with revolver inserts to shoot multiple different rounds 3 inch .410 shell 454 45 auto, 9mm, .22, .25, .32, .38, .357 magnum, .44 magnum, it’s the judge magnum 513 but the whole gun except handle is thickened for the purpose of some caliber’s I mentioned like .22 .25 .32 when fired probably won’t even touch the barrel & if they do it will be skip bounce out, I’ll try to find the video of it & post it here.
