I get my natural flat ironed maybe 3 times a year and wear it for 2 weeks. Then I pre-poo with Olive Oil, then I use Head &Shoulders Royal Oils shampoo, moisture conditioner, co-wash, Maui Maui ( purple label),deep moisture conditioner for 30-40 minutes. PPT protein when I condition after a flat iron. Cantù Argon Oil repair leave in conditioner. Always use a heat protector, and hair serum. I started my hair journey in 3/2020. 2 inch natural. It’s now pass my shoulders stretched. Be patient.

Nene that’s the thing. I feel like I am working on my goals. I am in school, I can take care of myself. We are social beings though, and I require community. I don’t mind being alone, but I don’t want to be lonely. I want to share my life with a partner. A mutual exchange with someone that makes your life easier, helps you grow, and respects your individuality. Only been in one relationship. I could be a little distracted by my want for partnership, but I always remain in my goal of elevating myself. I just wanna be boo’d up too 😭😭😭

I recently had to distance myself from certain people & refocus. It wasn't easy, but I know that it was necessary. I'm less distracted now & better able to focus on what truly matters to me. It's all about getting into alignment like you said. Good intentions are great, but actions need to back it up. I don't want to keep blocking my blessings by engaging in things that don't serve me. My peace is important & I'm working hard to maintain/protect it. You just get to a point where you've been through so much that all you want to commit to is your healing & personal development. I become more & more content with this season that God has me in every day. Thank you for reaffirming that I'm on the right track. ❤
GIRLLLL!!!!! When I tell you I am listening to your video at work and holding back the tears hunny. So much of what you mentioned in your video is the exact feeling that I have and have not had the voice to actually say what I am feeling because I don't really understand why certain things happen to me. All I can say is wow. I am one thats more comfortable with writing because to me thats how I am able to fully express my feelings without judgment and without being interrupted by those I need to talk to. When you mentioned that you didn't go back and read what your wrote in your journal, that's me. I always encourage people to journal to get it all out, but I would never read back what I wrote because I never wanted to revisit the pain I was feeling at that moment. So much of what you talked about blessed me SOOOOO MUCH and its really something that I needed to hear, one to know that I am not alone and others are going through things, and two that I really need to start tapping into me and show up for me, doing the work to actually heal through the hurt and trauma. So thank you and pray God continue to help you along your journey to your recovery.
