I have problems with understanding the hexagon in general, not sure if it's because I'm dyslexic or what but I just have trouble trying to get my head around the number of corners needed. Some video say you need six so I don't know all I can use. Keep trying until I get it 🤷🏾‍♀️😭😭😭😭

I did the crown with a 5mm crochet hook, then rows 1-5 of the shellfish with 6mm and, seeing that it was slightly too small, rows 6-7 and brim with a 7mm crochet hook. It fits perfectly and looks great. 😀Pity we can’t add a picture.
