I’m Girish Menon, and I help people find joy through photography 💕

I teach photography courses online. You can be based anywhere in the world, and still learn photography from me, how cool is that!

The beginner’s course consists of 6 hours of live One-on-one training, that time can be split into 2 or 4 sessions. You can even do it all in one go if you’re short on time.

I will show you how to set the exposure and click sharp photos with any DSLR, Mirrorless, or Bridge Camera in its manual mode. You will be able to click a wide variety of subjects such as people and portraits, food and lifestyle, nature, landscape and wildlife.

We can even create customised advanced courses for you so that you can explore your area of interest even further.

It’s not because you didn’t use a filter it’s because it’s a pumper. Every time you zoom in and out with that design it’s going to be prone to suck in dust. Even more so if it’s done when off the camera. People over obsess about dust inside of lenses. Unless it’s in huge amounts your images are not going to see any huge impact. If anything you may lose a bit a contrast at most
@TheOpenImage

@@pluggednickels7321 Yes, that's true. However even a little dust kills its resale price 😄
@pluggednickels7321
@pluggednickels7321 3 дня назад
@@TheOpenImage I have sold 1000s of pieces of camera gear over the years and I always cringe when I get that question of dust in a lens . It is usually from people that don’t understand that once you start using a lens almost any lens it will be prone to have some amount of dust in it even at the microscopic level. Even more so when they will take bright flashlight and look at the lens for dust. Yep you are most certainly going to see some dust. It doesn’t matter how clean the lens may be of dust. These folks are never going to be satisfied. If a lens has that much dust in it it’s best to just keep it and use it as you are right you will take a huge hit on resale value unless you get an educated buyer that knows dust is just a reality of using a lens or camera.

I bought mine D500 yrs ago. I did not sell mine. I totally agree with you this camera is still very good. My D500 lens is 200-500/18-200/AF P 70-300 and 35mm 1.8 mm I don't plan to sell it. It is still good for wild life. My only disappointment is it just too heavy. Thanks

@@pjazzz353 We all wish they built lighter lenses with long reach for wildlife photography and lighter cameras that have all the power necessary for the challenges of wildlife photography - perhaps one day they will get much lighter - but even about 10 years ago they were much heavier and produced much worse results so from that point of view we're living the future 😁

Great review! I suggest that you review the Canon 1DX or a Nikon D4S... Both these cameras retail for about 900$ used on Ebay and are really good for wildlife considering their good low light performance and high burst rate. Hope you can do something like this in the future!

@TheOpenImage
@TheOpenImage 2 месяца назад
Hi, if you can afford the 500 f/5.6 PF lens, it's a wonderful lens and incredibly small and light for a 500 prime lens. 500 f/4 prime lenses are expensive and heavy but have their own advantages, especially in low light. If you're interested in clicking birds, the 500 PF lens offers more versatility, especially since it makes it so convenient to use it hand held. However if you're interested in clicking animals also on Jeep safaris, the 200-500 offers a larger range of focal lengths which is important because many times 500mm is too much zoom - for example when a tiger is crossing the track close to your Jeep. Thanks for watching my videos are commenting, I appreciate it 😊

SO well said! I agree with you 100% about Nikon (and other camera makers) forcing people to buy expensive mirrorless cameras that are new and have more megapixels, but sometimes come with lower capabilities than the "old" DSLRs like the D500. I had though that there was no better choice that to buy a still-expensive Z6ii which has poor autofocus, but now I am encouraged to look more at the D500 - used and old, but not necessarily worse.
