atheists always want proof and physical evidence and real Christians know that its all about believing and not seeing. Can atheists prove that Darwins theory of evolution is real? were they there? or do they just believe it? that's called faith. you weren't there to see it happen but you believe it. its not different from Christianity at all. But while the ones who don't hold onto religion and instead choose to spread peace like Jesus would want there are some that are doing the stupid things that westboro baptist church are doing and ruining everything. i still wanna find an atheist who simply doesn't believe but doesn't have anything against Christians and would actually love to hear it just b/c its their passion. but all i ever find is atheists who are butt hurt for some reason and offended by everything and anything about it when clearly Jesus hasn't done anything wrong and everything points towards a loving compassionate God with nothing but goodness planned for your life. i could go on and on about why things are the way they are today and why God doesn't stop it but atheists would twist it 300 ways and make SO many arguments about it. the spiritual world is so complex and divine and hard to understand and exciting that explaining it would only make it seem dull and boring. you have to experience it. i will never be convinced that God is fake. his existence and life itself is in us and the world around us. its EVERYWHERE!! you cant escape it. you can blaspheme Gods name even when you don't believe. That's actually a huge thing. someone who doesn't believe and uses Gods name as a curse is blaspheming against God. just b/c you don't believe doesn't mean he's not real. your non belief in him doesn't make a difference. Your future in the afterlife is important. Don't waste it. tomorrow will never be promised and forever is a VERY long time...
Some people desperately want this to be fake & will try to convince themselves with all sorts of reasons why it could be because of the same old reason - no one wants to be held accountable at the end of their time on this plane.

Richard, I met you years ago when I was a young man and just starting out in racing. I met you at the Shell station, years later I moved on to Colorado and passed along to you some wonderful engineering and vehicle dynamics books. I often thought of you over the years. I'm in my 50s now and have returned to the Santa Barbara area. When I was in my late 30s, my first wife was in a horrific motorcycle accident and that experience changed both of our lives forever. She reported to me a similar experience and if she was not my wife, I would have had some difficultly believing what she shared with me. Richard, I assure you, you are far from crazy! My mom had the same type of experience many years ago. When she came out of surgery she told us of her meeting with Jesus. She was walking with Jesus towards a beautiful light. Then they stopped and went no further. She asked Jesus why did we stop. He told her you can't go in. She asked why not. He told her you pray without faith. My mom was a feisty old lady. She said she got mad and took her rosary and handed them over to Jesus. She told Him here You show me how to pray then. He smiled and said this is the first time anyone has ever given me anything. She heard voices and He told her she had to go. She didn't want to but she had to. He didn't send her back with any kind of message other that she had to suffer a little more. She did suffer more with being bed ridden but she never wavered. Nothing that was thrown at her bothered her. She kept praying using her rosary. After a while she stopped talking about her experience. It was like she wanted to keep it a secret. She finally passed away. Yeah, my mom was really something. She got mad at Jesus. Ha!
Absolutely beautiful. My twin had a out of body once and got to say goodbye to her pet Peke Dog Bandit. God let her leave her body and and pet him goodbye after he passed unexpected during a Mylogram at a Specialist Vet office.

God Bless you Richard. Treasure your beautiful experience of the Divine, it's as real, as real can be. No-one can take it away from you, and you are not alone, so many others have had similar experiences. If people choose not to believe when you tell them your story, try not to be hurt. Although I know it's hard sometimes, sadly they haven't had the experience that you have had so they cannot really understand. It's not their fault.
