The perfect light touring bike. Anodised engine? Why the heck did Honda stop making it, considering it fell below the limiting hurdles placed by both the Japanese and American governments of the day?
That bike would sell like hotcakes if they reintroduced it I bet. It already has the reputation of being a bulletproof engine and the styling is too cool for school. I had a 1980 CX 500 that I loved and have regretted selling. Wonder if you have kept this one?
Super clean! Mine is in similar condition. These are very rare in the US because they were imported just for 1983 and sold poorly even that year. I was lucky to find mine in a neighboring town. They are great and unique bikes.
That's just a fantastic bike. My Silver Wing doesn't look too bad, but yours puts it to shame. Love the colour scheme and as you clearly pointed out, the chrome is pristine. Someone stole my right side cover so the air filter is exposed. Cretin.
