Eikon Loadout: 1. Leviathan: Diamond Dust, Impulse 2. Garuda: Deluge, Tsunami 3. Shiva: Abyssal Tear, Cross Swell Accessories: Genji Gloves +1, Assailant Bit (From Echoes of the Fallen DLC), The Will of Water (Deluge)
I think the Leviathan gun and Deluge ability are sufficient enough to wittle the stagger bar, while exchanging the other abilities to more powerful ones to increase more damage
what a show you put on for this fight! im trying to do this myself currently right now. how did you manage to skip most of the second phase just by hitting an hp threshold?
you need to hit the HP threshold (arond 50%) on the second phase to trigger the cutscene for the third phase. his abilities on the second phase are homing hence it's hard to chunk the stagger meter at this point - hence why the need to dump all damage during the first phase.
You should try getting the 3rd Zantetsuken while not having the first one at lvl 5 already lol. Nevertheless, pretty good gameplay. I beated Atlas on NG+ Final Fantasy difficulty and only got hit once because of his ice wall 😢 Had a very similar build to this one
This build has been weirdly inconsistent with me, but for the main reason that sometimes when I place lightning rod before the stagger; as well as rift cancel to ensure they stay in the same spot, the enemy will sometimes fall forward completely away from the rod and render it and the first dancing steel entirely useless To mitigate that I tried casting it right after the stagger but it was too time consuming and didn't give enough time for the second DS to come back is there a trick to this i'm just completely missing? how do you consistently have the rod placed in just the right area before the stagger that you can still use it?
Cool! But the fact that you have to interrupt the Zan before the second hit that looks sick is a shame. Also is the damage reduced if you do that? Looks like it is.
At 1:34, Why not using zant.5 right after Dancing steel, and instead redoing a Riftslip + Frostbite before ? When you do a zant5 right after it does not consume any stagger bar ( since you can hold square during DS animation and release it instantly after DS is finish to launch zant.5 ) so I miss the point. thank you for the video
Its makes sense with how dissapointing the fight was with odin that his ultimate does literally no damage maxed out. Everything else dwarfs it even zantesuken which is the basic circle charge. You could have made this so much faster with a different ultimate in odins kit.
Doing 9 Zantetsukens require equipping all the eikon ultimates and in a NG+ playthrough thats not a good loadout especially on overworld. Not to mention u only get to max your abilities around more than half through NG+. This build optimizes time to stagger, damage during stagger, and still fitting in low cooldown abilities for overworld.
What is the general rotation on rift slip and cold snap??? RS has cool down so you cant just willy nilly abuse it with cold snap right?? Can someone help answer? Thx.
I got 15 min clear time on the final chronolith trial because of this very simple technique of spamming shift combo. But thats very boring I must say, just spamming one technique. I hope devs fix this point system
I still don't think it's THE best though. It does wash a lot of boss fights in the game though which is true, but the best ability is still fire wisp. It's literally god mode. And I would also put the Garuda spin kick next to that. It's one thing to give a move s but it's also something else to give a move extra actions just because you enabled the move.
I dont know where youre coming from, but lightning rod literally enables all kinds of playstyle and serves as a catalyst to make other abilities much much better (wykes, gigaflare, zantetsuken, megaflare, aerial blast). It heavily rewards players who use this ability to its max potential. Will of the wykes is up there, but not to the same level as lightning rod. It’s busted in ultimaniac mode, however.
@@relhiya1 it does, but it doesn't win by itself. Like you said, it has to be used with something to be efficient at its highest potential. Just looking at the ability by itself alone its really good of course but it doesnt win by itself. Wisp, you can basically survive forever. Only a breathe move can actually kill you. At high levels you'd refill it once you run out to use it again
@@NY-Buddy it's not Lightning Rod that is given full potential if used with something, rather it enables OTHER abilities to do crazy more damage and utility. Wykes is primarily a defense tool, and its potential at chunking the will gauge is, ironically, locked behind Lightning Rod usage.
