Now picture some serious breath hold divers most natural--as in naked and unabashed natives of the uncharted side of Polynesia diving to some underwater tiki shrine situated some 20 feet deep to make supplications to such supernatural spirits Polyesian in their nakedness, culminating in the tiki statue ejaculating mysteriously into the water not unlike those reports of crucifixes "shedding blood" or statues of the Virgin Mary "weeping" inexplicably.
I noticed you inflating & attaching a black seat. Did that come with the raft or is it an accessory? Why aren't you wearing a Life Jacket? Warm Regards from Reno, Nevada U.S.A.
It came with the raft and was a part of the price! And no life jacket in this case because it's a river we've been to before and we knew it was an easy class 2, with tiny rapids. Some people even go on cheap inflatable boats on this river! So we knew we were fine and safe.
Excellent planning Vivian , and it turns out a very good trip with amazing view. bác Q và cô T. bạn của bố D và mẹ V, we watch every single clip of your adventures. Stay strong and stay safe.
Hi! I would like to ask some questions. First do you remember how much does the single or return ticket cost to the lift and the train? My second question is do you know which is the earliest time when the first lift goes to the top? And in the end i would be greatful if you could reccommend an actual site where I can find informations about it.
Hi! The return ticket is not cheap, for people without a Half Fare or a GA it costs 75chf. If you stay in certain hotels or get a metro plus card it costs 45chf RT. I got it for 36chf RT as I have a GA card. For the earliest train, I'd call the saas fee cable car and ask. The website will tell you the first cable car is 7:15am, but in reality we took the "mountaineers cable car" which started at 6 or 6:30am. I can't remember. Again, I'd call them to ask about this. Here is the site: www.saas-fee.ch/en/services-informationen/tarife-fahrplaene-bergbahnen/tarife-bergbahnen/saas-fee
Depends on the rapids, of course since we don’t have a spray deck we do have water that gets in if we get splashed. But we expect it and so we don’t do anything above class II or we barely will scratch class III water. So far it’s not too fragile!! We’ve gone through very shallow water full of rocks and beaten it up a bit and it’s held up without any leakage.
You got to the top of the Allalinhorn and didn't show footage of the surrounding mountains, Matterhorn, Dom, etc, which was surely the point of the exercise, to see the views! This video was all about me, me, me on camera! Very poor!
You're totally right, I completely forgot to do that! The point of the exercise was really to get in technique and practice/training in the mountains, and we enjoyed the views on the ridgeline rather than on the summit as it was too crowded (and it IS still covid times), so we didn't stay there long. I was also shy about vlogging next to strangers on the summit. Also, of course it was about me, me me on camera. It's a vlog after all :p.This was my second YT vlog EVER, so please consider being kinder to those you don't know. Constructive criticism is better than being rude.
Stating fact is not being rude. I could of said, viewing the mountain views from the top of the Allalinhorn would be far more enjoyable than watching your and your friends faces, but I didn't. Funny how some people find the truth hard to accept.
You might have missed my first sentence. I said “you’re totally right”. Which means that, yes, I agree with you that maybe I should have filmed more of the views rather than enjoying it with my own eyes. So yes, I did already accept that truth my dear. You could also watch other videos rather than mine too, you know. But trolls will be trolls. ✌️
At the moment, not very long. Maybe 1-1.5 minutes? Before, it was 3 minutes but I haven't been training since I live in a landlocked country and COVID doesn't allow us to travel so wehaven't had many chances to freedive.
This is my favorite one you have done! Such a fun video and now I know not to try to build an igloo by myself...lol this makes me kinda miss snow and kinda makes me happy that I’m missing winter this year all at once! Lol
Awhhh I'm so glad you think it's your favorite!! I think it's my favorite too :) Practice makes perfect I guess! Awhh hahaha I cannot imagine a winter without snow but then again I can also imagine a winter on the beach ;)
@@VivOffGrid heck yeah it does! Tj and I have definitely gotta a ton better since our first videos! And a year without snow is nice after living in a place where there is snow basically year round lol
I love our sleeping bags and our poles, gotta have the hiking poles they are such a game changer. I missed backpacking this summer! I can’t wait to do some more in the future
AHHH yes our sleeping bags are soo great, the Magmas are the REAL DEAL. I didn't do much backpacking last summer either, come visit me while you're on your amazing trip and once covid regulations loosen and we will do more backpacking :)
@@VivOffGrid NIce! :) Yeah most of the Videos jsut show it the first time... or tehy just talk about it :) there are barely in use videos or longtime experiences :) Thanks for the reply! :)
Awh thanks!! Yeah it was a quick, fun half day adventure that was great to do before the snow hit but was too cold to go up to the mountains. Plus we didn't want to risk getting on the train and getting Angus sick again!
Just watched this again. Those crevasses are crazy!! I can’t wait to get into mountaineering so I can start doing stuff like that. Also it’s crazy to me how many people there are out there! Really does make you appreciate the remoteness of Colorado. Looks like a darn awesome adventure!
Right?! And this is one of the easiest 14ers here... lol. And the crevasses are obvious so I cannot imagine going to another mountain and risking going into crevasses that are way bigger and hidden! I agree, what I really miss about the US is the wildnerness, you really cannot get away from humans in this tiny little country.
Thanks Patrick! Nah, I think if you were healthy and young without pre-existing conditions (like asthma, or maybe if you are very susceptible to altitude sickness) then it's not so bad!
Right?! It's so cool and SUCH a huge difference in water temperature too! The silty gray blue water is from all the glacier runoff, so it's pretty cold! But once you hit the lake it's the perfect swimming temperature :)
