Go ahead and make Maine look so idealic sure it's got a lot of beautiful sights.the mountains of Western Maine are gorgeous. The sad truth is most towns and cities are poor and run down with no decent paying jobs to be had.
Tuxedo Cat really? Interesting... reason i ask is because I was raised on island in Maine. Every year i take one of my kids on a trip. This year my daughter can’t decide between Maine and Washington But I’ve never been to WA, other than a weekend in Seattle but we were thinking ab the other side of the cascades so it wouldn’t rain everyday
Reid and Sarah, what a wonderful video! Just damn skippy good! I love Maine. I am a Washingtonian, yet spent with my good friend 3 summers in your glorious state. I plane to move to Maine, I just have to find the right property. Anyways, thanks for doing this video. It didn't change my mind, but it was a wonderful reminder why I believe that Maine is the bees-knees, the end all to be all, the fancy monkey with a barbed tail (yea, ok, I made that one up). Just thanks for a great video I could slip into easily. Have a great winter, and don't get too squirrelly.
A+++++++++++. What an amazing, fabulously helpful vacation video. You’ve shown me some sights that I need to see next time we go to that region, plus some areas like Mohegan Island that I cannot visit due to limitations. What a blessing and a treat, and such a generous act for your fellow human beings! Lovely camera work, too! Thank you!!!
Best 5 years of my life. One of the few states in which the population isn't completely broken. They did elect lepage after I left, so things might have changed.
Beautiful, thank you. I've some family roots that are from that part of Maine. Love the wide open ocean, the overall landscape, the wildlife and the people there I feel I could connect. Sort of torn between there and Minnesota, being 30% Scandinavian, 20% British isles, about 40% European, etc. Actually my family's roots can be traced to Maine hundreds of years ago. I research genetic genealogy and love to harmonize the beauty of the earth with the history and people who inhabit these awesome places.
Great video! I had the pleasure of exploring Maine with my grandmother before she passed away, It is so majestic. I'm considering moving there. I grew up on Cape Cod and have lived in CA for 13 years now and "homesick" is putting it lightly. Something about the people here, I just never have felt like I fit in.
props to the tutor who seemed to have the patience of a saint. the great things with korean hornbeams is they are very forgiving even if you do make a big mistake along the line.
That is so absurd. Only crazy people from the Left think boycotts are an appropriate way to express disagreement. Why is your first instinct to try to harm people, both the ones who heaven forbid disagree with you, and those who are innocent bystanders?
Happybidr: You mean those people who boycotted all things Disney because the company was gay-friendly and gave benefits to partners of gay employees were "crazy people from the Left"? You mean those people who boycotted Keurig because the company removed its ads from Hannity were "crazy people from the Left"? You mean when Trump called for a boycott of the NFL to protest players kneeling during the anthem, he was a "crazy person from the Left"? You mean the people who called for a boycott of Amazon because the company supported a lawsuit challenging Trump's attempt to bar people from Muslim majority countries from entering the US were "crazy people from the Left"? Both sides of the aisle have called for boycotts for various reasons. It isn't just the left.
Thank you so much for this delightful Maine coast video. I will be using it to set the backdrop for a wonderful novel I'm teaching through with my third graders called Touch Blue by Cynthia Rylant, set on an island in Maine. I've been to Maine, but many of my Pennsylvania students have not...so your lovely work truly helps to get the lovely "feel" of the landscape, folks and homes (even the seal pup and lobstering!). THANK YOU for such a great resource!
