Orioles get Efflin and Dominguez. Look out American League teams! If the Orioles lock down Mason Miller, the Baltimore Orioles will represent the AL in the fall classic without question.

Corbin Burnes is 100% going to be an Oriole in 2025. Since you can’t do the research yourself, here’s the facts for you: I’m starting to get really sick of people acting like Corbin Burnes has already signed with another team and has no shot of being an Oriole next year. Listen, Burnes has been EXTREMELY open about the fact that he values winning above all things and desires postseason pitching above anything else. The Orioles are more poised to win over the next 10 years than any other organization in baseball based on our young talent. Also, we have a new owner that also been EXTREMELY open about his intentions to spend the money the previous owners would not spend, and supporting the team in every conceivable fashion financially. Corbin is Rubenstein’s opportunity to show Baltimore and all of baseball that he’s not full of poop. The only reason they haven’t signed him yet is because he’s a Scott Boris client. Rubenstein is no fool, he’s playing this perfectly. He’s going to let Burnes test free agency, field offers across all of baseball, so he can match or beat any other offer which shows Burnes how much he means to the team bc he let him go field offers and straight up beat them and he shows all of baseball he’s not fking around at all and there’s a new regime in Baltimore that NY & Boston can no longer write off. All that has to happen from here is the Orioles have to have a more successful October than last year’s sweep. Next year we have Bradish, Means and Bautista coming back between Spring Training and September. We also have Holliday, Mayo and Norby becoming full time players next year with Basallo close behind. This team has insane upgrades coming next year from within the organization. If we do something crazy like win the AL pennant which we are favored to win right now, Burnes will know, at that point, that he will win a World Series in Baltimore, likely multiples, but certainly multiple pennants. The front office is simply affording him the opportunity to sign his contract with the Orioles knowing that he is getting the absolute best contract he could have gotten while knowing he’s going to be pitching in the World Series. How is no one noticing that the Orioles are just setting this up to be the loudest statement they could possibly make? As far as I’m concerned, he’s already an Oriole for the next 5-7 years minimum, and I’m befuddled as to how no one else is realizing this bc the Orioles have the third lowest payroll in baseball with two of their highest paid players not even on the big league roster(Jackson Holliday and Chris Davis, and Davis’ $15 million will be coming off the payroll at the end of 2024 and Holliday’s $8+ million is from a signing bonus which means over $23 million falls off the Orioles payroll at the end of this year. Rubenstein intentionally jumped Davis from $1 million/year to $15M+. Corbin Burnes will probably command $20-25M/year. How is no one noticing that he commands almost exactly what we expect to open up at the end of this season? Cmon folks, it’s all public information). Corbin is the Orioles ace of today and the future and the way you show him that is by letting him see that they’ll pay him as much, or more, than any other team, and showing him that he can expect to only see improvements made by the front office every year. Wake up people, Corbin Burnes is technically a free agent at the end of this year, but based solely on a formality and not any form of reality. So get used to seeing him Oriole Orange.

Do not read my comments unless you want to lose all hope of your team winning a World Series in the next 15 years, or a Pennant if your team is in the AL.

Orioles 2025 Postseason 26 Man Roster 1. Holliday 2B 2. Rutschman C 3. Henderson SS 4. Santander RF 5. Kjerstad LF 6. O’Hearn 1B/DH 7. Westburg 3B 8. Cowser CF 9. Mayo 1B/DH Bench: Norby 2B, 3B, RF, LF, DH, Basallo C, 1B, DH + 2 players, any 2 players Mateo/Urias SP: Burnes, Bradish, Means, Rodriguez BP: Wells, Suarez, Kremer, Akin, Irvin, Webb, Perez, Cano, Bautista Who is dealing with that? What AL team is competing? New ownership in Baltimore means Burnes will be an Oriole next year, he’s only going to free agency bc he’s a Scott Boris client so they’re going to field offers to allow the Orioles to match/beat, but he wants to win in October above all things and there’s no better place for that in baseball. If the Orioles spend their other plethora of prospects outside these players or utilize Mullins/Hays/Mountcastle/Mateo/Urias with those prospects, and bring home a Mason Miller this winter as well, you’re talking about a team we haven’t seen anything close to in a VERY, VERY long time. Bautista has 6 out capabilities all day, Miller could come in situationally like Andrew Miller used to and then you just need 5 shutout innings from those 4 aces with a solo homer from that lineup and who is winning ANY games in October against the Orioles? The Yankees are already spending $304 million this year and this is what they put on the field. Teams should be giving it everything they got to acquire some of the orioles upcoming prospects this deadline simply to keep this team from becoming that great. Bc if they get to that 26 man roster, the whole of the American League will be sellers from 2026-2036. Everyone is asleep at the wheel and the Orioles are about to be the new measuring stick of baseball, it’s going to be the Orioles and then everyone else. Future quotes, “they’re a very good team, I mean they’re not Baltimore good by any means, but they should clinch their division by September 15th” “they had a great season, new franchise record in wins, new franchise record in postseason runs/runs allowed, and they should be really proud of that despite being swept in the World Series by the Orioles” “they are the hottest team in baseball in the month of July, the only team with more wins and runs scored is the Orioles” “they have the best ERA in baseball behind Baltimore” “the Orioles finished the season 81-0 when leading after the 6th inning” “the AL MVP, Cy Young and reliever of the year awards remain in Baltimore for a 3rd consecutive season and 4th time in 5 years” “the Orioles become the first team in baseball history to have 3 different players win the AL MVP in 3 straight seasons, and the first team to win the AL MVP award in 5 consecutive seasons” “yet another season where the AL MVP award is being battled out internally by the Orioles with the top 2 favorites to win being Orioles as the rest of the AL continues to look up at Baltimore” Lastly: “this World Series win solidifies Baltimore as the latest baseball dynasty having won 5 of the last 11 World Series winning and 8 AL pennants over that span, which really makes you wonder, how many would it have been had they not been plagued so severely by injuries in four of those eleven seasons where they lost a Cy Young leading candidate and 2 leading candidates in the MVP votings during those four unlucky seasons, but with a team that is still relatively young as their superstars are still under age 33 almost across the board, it begs the question, how many more times will we see an Orange October with the Orioles hosting game 1 of the Fall Classic? Bc they don’t look like they’re done by any means or any stretch of the imagination from where I’m standing”. And who has earned that more than Baltimore after the Angelos family kept them in the cellar for so many years with Buck Showalter bringing us 5 incredible winning seasons without having much to work with at all, but aside from that, we went from 1998-2022 without a winning season, and one of those 4 seasons we were 81-81. That’s 25 years as the doormat after going wire to wire in 1997. Having 8-10 perennial all star talents from your 1st-3rd round drafts in 4 seasons with the best GM in baseball and new ownership eager to make a statement and join the likes of Boston and NY financially is how a dynasty is built. It’s Our Time, and we won’t have to cheat to win, so enjoy the view baseball, bc we are just getting started.

George Brett hit under .150 his first season in the show. Anyone that puts stock in a player’s first 40 PA’s is simply a fool. Holliday is, and will continue to be, an Oriole for the majority, if not the entirety, of his career.

How about Skubal for Mayo and Kjerstad+? Before anyone comments, the O's aren't trading Holliday. Also, the O's trying to replace Norby instead one of Mayo or Kjerstad, the Tigers won't bite on that. In fact, Mayo, Kjerstad and Povich for Skubal would be fair and a decent haul for the Tigers.

I disagree. Kjerstad is in a more readily needed role than other prospects UNLESS the O’s resign Santander. I see them letting Santander leave though in order to have more money to throw at Free agent pitching. Kjerstad while not Santander level currently can perfectly slide right into his role next season.
