Massive sound from minimal gear - easy way to spot a talent! In your previous videos I wondered, how you get that definitely lexiconish sound, but now I see it comes from a humble Spirit FX8. Really inspiring and original stuff!
Thank you for this video and also part 1. I had been thinking about getting one of these and these videos are very helpful. Also, it’s nice that the music you make is a joy to listen to. One thing, if you do make another video, I’d love to hear more longer passages where you let us hear a blend of the original and resynthesized sounds to get a better idea of how they might interact. For my own personal use I plan to have both the original “dry” sounds and the effected sounds brought into the live sound system. I’m grateful for your sharing of experience. I hope you keep making more videos like this.
I hope I can buy one next year. I just keep coming back to this Demo. Every time you go to another selection of knobs it gets even better. Like a new palette of Sound opens up, even though the few things before were already more than enough. Magical
Awesome, these effects become so different when they're processing voice, it's like you can hear them all the more. Thanks for sharing this! And really powerful vocal style! Very cool :) Ooh, and the final compositional approach! It all sounds fantastic together. Smile-inducing! I think people must love these pieces that you make this way. They sound new and old at the same time, and very personal.
Hello - Question! How do you get Pam's and USTA to sync so well ? I find USTA is always a few BPM off ( on screen ) from Pam's when using say Channel 1 to CLK and when using the DIN sync ( 24 PPQN ) its crazy - have to set USTA to 6:1 but the screen tempo is wild!
Beautiful vocals! What mic are you using and how are you getting it into your setup?
