Revelation 14:9-11 if any man (anyone) worship's the beast, his image, or receives his mark, they will be tormented FOREVER. This means a believer can lose their salvation if they do these things. Some might say all they have to do is ask for forgiveness and they will be forgiven, and restored. That may be possible IF Jesus didn't send them the strong delusion, and that string delusion is that the antichrist is God 2 Thessalonians 2:7-12. God shall send them a strong delusion that they may believe the lie, and the lie is the antichrist is God. Once saved always saved is true IF u endure till the end, till the day of Redeeming. Slam dunk once saved always saved is conditional, they that endure til the end will be saved.

Luke 12:43-46 I thought this was a sure fire slam dunk from the other night I was on the broadcast with u guys. This is Jesus talking about one of his servants saying my Lord delays his coming, and he begin to drink and be drunk, and percecute his fellow brethren (believers). And the Lord of that servant (Jesus) came on a day that servant was NOT looking for him to come. And the Lord of that servant came on a day when he was not expecting him. And the Lord of that servant (Jesus) appointed him a portion with the unbelivers, this means he took from him his portion with the believers (eternal salvation). A appointed (reassigned him) a portion with the sinners. This clearly proves that a believer can lose their eternal salvation, if they are found in sin when Jesus comes. Slam dunk!

Sorry I have never read that but no its still no slam dunk it's a load. That's about all. Ephesians 1:4 says God chose people before he created the world. There is also the part in Mathew where the apostles ask Jesus why he is speaking in parables. He specifically says if he told them how to get saves he would had to have saved them all and its not for all of them. So again all you have is someone who wasn't saved or chosen to be saved.

Lol not hardly you have EPHESIANS 1:4 and I think there are over 20 different verses with predestination in them. Also if God chose people before he created the world they obviously had little choice it it. So no taking Roman's 9 out isn't remove 99% of it. Most people use that chapter because it's so clear and you honestly have to be blind to deny what it says. It's very clearly saying it's of God and other Verses like Ephesians just verify it.

A lot of Bill's arguments were pointless. They were, as he himself admitted, arguments for the existence of a God, which was not the question at stake in this debate. If Erica had wanted to, she could have just replied with, "Ok, there's a God. Now what does this have to do with the topic of creation vs evolution?".

Warren McGrew what would dynamic omniscience look like if A) God we’re not obedient or subject to time, and B) if the future & past were real, but maleable? Is there some sort of compromise that can dynamically put God both inside & outside of time simultaneously? I have no skin in this debate. I think Warren McGrew won the debate as far as showing that you can’t classify Dynamic Omniscience as heresy, though I think Tfan poked enough holes in it so that I agree that the past & future do exist and that God is not bound by time in the same way as man. I think Warrens discussion on the statements of God when He said what will certainly happen if nothing changes were particularly compelling and I’m still working that out in my brain. I think Warren poked enough holes in static omniscience that it also cannot be readily accepted. Daniel 9:23 (NASB95) “At the beginning of your supplications the command was issued, and I have come to tell you, for you are highly esteemed; so give heed to the message and gain understanding of the vision. Hebrews 4:12 (NASB95) For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Here is my take. Neither static nor dynamic seem sufficient on their own. I think time is a created aspect of our created universe. If man is a 4 dimensional being then God is like a 50 dimensional being. I think God exists in superposition both inside & outside of time & is master over it, it is not master over Him. There is nothing fatalistic about time, nor can it inflict itself on God, but God is master of it. I think God has determined that his creation be able to make choices, and those choices influence the path they experience within time. However, God not being bound or subject to time is able to observe our future choices 1 year, 10 years, 100 years from now, and as He makes observations 100 years from now His consciousness in all times become aware of those observations. He can dynamically step into any moment of time and influence those choices by giving us new (new to us) information. When He told David he would certainly die if he stayed, that free choice on God’s part changed the choice that David made and created a new future that Gods future consciousness observed & informed His present. As soon as the decision to act (the thought & intention) was made, it changed the future reality. When God said “let there be light” it changed our physical reality from what was to what is & will be. When God interacts with His creation, it changes. Because we are made in his image, our choices do this as well (albeit on a much more limited scale). As soon as God had the thought & intention to create, he saw the end from the beginning. But because He existed at every point in time simultaneously he could make creative changes to his creation at any time to change reality to suit his pleasure. Some changes were macro, some micro, and some changes were to give us the information to create a new reality for ourselves by making different choices. Isaiah 46:10 (NASB95) Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things which have not been done, Saying, ‘My purpose will be established, And I will accomplish all My good pleasure’; The future exists, and is static, until it changes. It’s like a lump of clay that God knows exactly what it might look like when he is done shaping it, but he still goes through the process of forming it. Each change adjusts the reality of the clay. Left alone, it would always be as it is now, but each interaction of the sculptor changes its present & future. The sculptor is free at any time to change His vision of it, and sometimes He does. He might even form it back into a lump & start over if he likes (Noah). Like the clay, the future is a real thing, but like the clay it is maleable. God created man with the ability to make limited changes, yet He is the prime mover. Some things are unchangeable (such as Christs return), but some things are changeable (whether we choose life or death). What does this change to the nature of Christ inform us about this debate: Philippians 2:5-11 (NASB95) 5 Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7 but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. 8 Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. 9 For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, 10 so that at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Hebrews 2:9 (NASB95) But we do see Him who was made for a little while lower than the angels, namely, Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, so that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone.

Hymenaeus and Philetus are among these; 18 they have missed the mark, as far as the truth is concerned, by saying that our resurrection has already taken place; and they are overturning some people’s faith. 19 Nevertheless, God’s firm foundation stands, stamped with these words: “The Lord knows his own,”[a] and, “Let everyone who claims he belongs to the Lord stand apart from wrongdoing.”[b]”

The Greek Septuagint had translated Sheol as Hades pretty all over the place. Acts 2:27 quotes Psalms 16:10, using Hades as the translation of Sheol directly. Hades in the Greek scriptures is the same thing as Sheol in the Hebrew scriptures. In Revelations 20, Hades is emptied with the second ressurection. Those brought out of Hades then face jusgement. Yet, how could they have been placed in Hades if it was a place of torment and punishment unless they were already judged worthy of such punishment? Is God so imperfect a judge that he needs to judge people twice? Also, the wages sin pays is death. This means, one pays for their sins when they die. It doesn't say the wages sin pays is eternal torment. God didn't tell Adam that if he sinned, he would be tormented. He said he would did. The eternal fire confuses many because we lived such sanitized lives today compared to the people back then. Back then, they had to deal with their dead more, with rotting meat, garbage, dead animals, etc. A very common way of dealing with it was to burn it. So, everyone back then would have known just how hard it would be to actually burn things. I remember a cop show where the forensic people were looking at a burned corpse and talking about how the killer was an amateur, because they didn't use nearly enough fuel to actually burn the body completely. This is what the eternal flame means and how people back then would have understood it. The eternal flame will no go out and leave parts of the bodies thrown into it unconsumed. It goes on forever and anything put into it will be completely destroyed so there will be no trace of it left. There will be no more chances. They are gone forever.

Direct fossil evidence of lungs in Tiktaalik is not available, that's true because lungs and other soft tissues rarely fossilize. However, the anatomical features and evolutionary context provide strong indirect evidence that it likely had lungs. For example; Tiktaalik's skeletal structure, particularly its ribcage, is robust and expanded. This suggests it had the capacity to support lungs and breathe air, as such a ribcage would help protect and ventilate lungs. Tiktaalik has both fish-like and tetrapod-like features, making it an important transitional fossil. It has a flat skull, eyes positioned on top of its head, and a neck, which are adaptations for a more terrestrial lifestyle, potentially including air breathing. Modern lobe-finned fishes, like lungfish and coelacanths, are closely related to early tetrapods and have both gills and lungs. This suggests that their common ancestors, and thus Tiktaalik, had a similar respiratory system. Lungfish, for example, have a similar body plan and can use lungs to breathe air when in oxygen-poor water. The evolutionary transition from water to land required adaptations for air breathing. The presence of intermediate forms with mixed aquatic and terrestrial features indicates the development of lungs was part of this transition. Tiktaalik fits into this context, ad there is no way around it.
@tobias4411
@tobias4411 16 часов назад
More than 60 fossils of Tiktaalik have been discovered. Tiktaalik had both lungs and gills, had a movable neck pectoral/shoulder separated from the skull, fins with thin ray bones for paddling (like most fish), but also sturdy interior bones to support its body weight and allowing to move itself up in shallow water. Those fins and other mixed characteristics mark Tiktaalik as a crucial transition fossil, from swimming fish to four-legged vertebrates. If you have a hard time to understand how fishes can walk on land, just look up mudskippers. Though, both Tiktaalik and mudskippers are associated with the transition from water to land, they are not directly related to each other. Tiktaalik is ancestor of tetrapods, regardless you like it or not. You can google "the origin of tetrapods" and examining some cladograms for better understanding. The discovery of Tiktaalik was the result of a well-informed and strategic search based on evolutionary predictions and geological knowledge.

This practice of taking a fossil that represents maybe 1/8th of the animal (or even less) and then “recreating” the entire being and then hatching a fictional story about how it looked, how it moved, how it breathed, what it ate, where it lived, etc. when there is no evidence to support it has to stop. The greater tragedy is this type of thing makes it into school textbooks as if it were fact. Embarrassing.

*The Enuma Elish would later be the inspiration for the Hebrew scribes who created the text now known as the biblical Book of Genesis.* Prior to the 19th century CE, the Bible was considered the oldest book in the world and its narratives were thought to be completely original. In the mid-19th century CE, however, European museums, as well as academic and religious institutions, sponsored excavations in Mesopotamia to find physical evidence for historical corroboration of the stories in the Bible. ***These excavations found quite the opposite, however, in that, once cuneiform was translated, it was understood that a number of biblical narratives were Mesopotamian in origin.*** *Famous stories such as the Fall of Man and the Great Flood were originally conceived and written down in Sumer,* translated and modified later in Babylon, and reworked by the Assyrians ***before they were used by the Hebrew scribes for the versions which appear in the Bible.*** ***In revising the Mesopotamian creation story for their own ends, the Hebrew scribes tightened the narrative and the focus but retained the concept of the all-powerful deity who brings order from chaos.*** Marduk, in the Enuma Elish, establishes the recognizable order of the world - *just as God does in the Genesis tale* - and human beings are expected to recognize this great gift and honor the deity through service. *"Enuma Elish - The Babylonian Epic of Creation - Full Text - World History Encyclopedia"* *"Sumerian Is the World's Oldest Written Language | ProLingo"* *"Sumerian Civilization: Inventing the Future - World History Encyclopedia"* ("The Sumerians were the people of southern Mesopotamia whose civilization flourished between c. 4100-1750 BCE." Francisco Ayala, a renowned evolutionary biologist and recipient of the National Medal of Science and the 2010 Templeton Prize *(and a former Dominican priest),* recently stated the consensus of the field in these terms [Ayala2010, pg. 49-50]: *The overwhelming majority of biologists accept evolution. as to Tiktaalik (an alleged transitional species) ... it is a textbook example of Darwinian misrepresentation of evidence. 2022 article: "The Ancient Fish That Got Cold Feet and Returned to Water" "An analysis of fossil remains reveals a species of ancient “fishapod” that transitioned to land only to return to the water." "Life on land isn’t for everyone. Approximately 375 million years ago, the famous “fishapod” Tiktaalik roseae first emerged from the water and explored the shore. At the same time, one of the species’ older relatives attempted a similar transition, only to turn tail and return to its former aquatic lifestyle. This finding, recently reported in Nature, further clarifies the complicated transformation of fish into four-legged, land-living tetrapods and emphasizes that evolution isn’t always a linear process" ==== This is Darwinism, a misrepresentation after a misrepresentation after a misrepresentation .... and lots of extrapolation .... :)))))))

The following is not evidence for evolution it is undeniable and irrefutable proof. Unless you can prove the following false with observable and repeatable experiment, documented, peer reviewed, accepted, registered and published in a major scientific journal then evolution is proved and you are talking batsh#t crazy rubbish. There are 13 randomly attaching endogenous retro-viruses in the same place in man and chimpanzee DNA so the chances of man and chimpanzee not having a common ancestor (and therefore not being cousins from tens to hundreds of millions of years ago) are 1: (for simplicity) the chance of picking the right 13 numbers from a lottery of 6 billion numbers. Or in other words an absolute certainty to the level of the number of atoms in the universe that man and chimpanzee are directly related by common ancestor. And that undeniably proves evolution by the scientific method = observable and repeatable. Answers in Genesis tried to counter it over a decade ago when it came out by saying the attaching wasn't random and the actual scientists responded to them confirming the variety of endogenous retro-virus used was randomly attaching (and provided the viruses scientific designation reference number). What happens in reality is this: You get sick, the viruses attach to your DNA, if that DNA is in a gamete, that gamete is fertilised and produces offspring the endogenous retro-virus marker remains in the DNA for all future generations and eventually, every man and every chimpanzee. Of course it is on the internet in a form which says the same albeit in more complicated terms. Radiometric dating is done by ionization chambers and mass spectrometers, instruments used daily world wide with an impeccable record for accuracy in all fields involving radioactivity and element recognition from medical to nuclear power stations and, industry to the military, policing and hundreds of other fields and as such the fossil record, dated by that method, is totally accurate and by using it we can determine that fossil record can only exist if evolution occurred i.e. the theory cannot be disproved.

I'm glad to see this brutal, crushing takedown of a man who has literally led many young adults into out and out Satanism, DELIBERATELY. His understanding of science is below high school level. His adherence to the pseudoscience speculative ideology of "Evolution" is just a manipulation tactic. Evolution as a hypothetical cause for speciation is dead, now that genetics and epigenetics, and more mass death fossil beds have been discovered. Even if I wasn't a Christian, as a person with some intensive higher education in Biomedical Science, I would be offended by this man's ignorance. There's no such thing as an unbiased position. There's no such thing as an atheist either. Everybody worships something. This guy worships himself, and likely Lucifer as well. He's just another ignorant, Neo-gnostic pagan.

Before one asserts that Mal 3:6 - "For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed." - is a proof text of God's immutability, consider the last part of the verse: The consumption of Israel (Jacob's latter name) was very much on the mind of God in Ex 32 - "Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them." And Moses then implores the Lord to reconsider, and the Lord relents, that is, repents. Why not consider that demonstration of the Lord's change of mind in response to prayer to be that which does not change. The same Lord that listened to Moses in Exodus is willing to change His mind in Mal 3. Hence the children of Israel are not consumed.

Do the whales that jump out of the water onto the seashore to grab a seal meal be considered as transitioning?
