Hey Dood! Sounds like you've got the ol' BPM Snap on there! To turn it off The composition bar at the top , look for beat snap and change it to 'None'! Hopefully that'll solve that for you there matey !
Ah noooooo PC for me alllll the way hahahahaha -- tbf some of the macs in the last 2 years or so have looked pretty monsterous, but still at least double the price!!! And then obviosuly I'm stuck with IOS which is enough to make a grown man cry ( although so is Windows tbf, but what can you do hahahaha )
Quick question! I'm trying to add visuals to our shows mainly music videos while we play the song in the video with my band, do you know If this videos can be triggered via MIDI by the sequence software? we are currently using SONAR for all our sequences and distortion changes with our midi pedalboards but we are looking for a software that can co-work or sync with sonar to be able to trigger the video of the song we are playing without having to have someone pushing the button... do you know which software could do this? thanks a ton new sub here! great videos! thx again and hi from Utah
Heyo matey! OOF so I really know very little about DAWs as a Visual man , but I'd say Ableton is probably your best bet; but it'll involve placing down MIDI notes in your Ableton track that are linked into resolume, and then when you start the track on ableton for your in ears, it should start the visual track at the exact same time ! You'll have to wiggle around the MIDI note placement however and get it right --- hope that helps mate, I'm sure there's a cleaner solution;but without using Timecoding stuff your in bodging territory hahahahaha!! : D

Hello mate!! Awesome glad to hear ti mon! Yeah so there's a few reasons this could be happenin' my first reaction would be have you got any other MIDI controllers plusgged in at the time? Having multiple MIDI controllers can affect the colour menu, but choosing a numbered value should still give you a colour output regardless, hope this helps bud! : D

How do you get all black and white clips? Is that so you can change the colors easily? Also trying to figure out how to convert free loops to resolume file format. Thanks!
Hello mate! If you wanna get all black and white clips, simply drop a colorize or a tint effect onto the composition tab, and you'll get everything workin' in B&W ; ) Ahhh I've got a video on free loops man , I reccomend giving it a watch and it'll teach you how on there ! : D

Awesome! Thanks for sharing your workflow 🙌 I'm wondering, what if you'll place every next clip on a layer of its own? Yes, you'll get a lot of layers - not optimal for a live show, but ok for recording a clip/timeline - you could set the transition for each clip as you like by setting it on its layer. This way plus perhaps recording the screen with OBS(?) could get the final clip right out of Resolume? Just an idea, I know the recording could have dropped frames etc, but still... perhaps good enough?

I have more than 470 free vj loops available at vimeo. I think nobody in the world has so many free vj loops, but don´t know why they are not noticed in recent times, they used to be,,, for sure. They can be seen when you talk about vimeo

Hello There my geee!! Ahhh man gassed to hear that you're getting some use out of 'em!! Always makes it worth it when people get some good stuff from my brain box --- ooooh good question yano, I had a look but I actually couldn't find out because I think I canablised it from another bundle --- but I am on the case ,, need to properly digout the storage Hardrives and find the original untapped versions !! Might end up making a video to do with loops soon, so I'll keep you posted on it pal ! : D

I wasn't much into that scene when it was popular around here, had plenty of mates who were into it though. That was a very colourful scene when it was at it's peak. For me, house music/breakbeat hardcore was more my thing. I was lucky enough to be able sneak into Burnley's Angels the last few years it was going (late 90s). It was old piano house which was played mainly down there. That was one hell of a club, and still one of the best places i've been to even after all these years. Anyway, i'm subbed to your channel and look forward to seeing you having a jam with your setups. Keep up the good work bud. Take care;)
