Fish, Fish, Fish, Eat, Sleep, Fish...Sums it up pretty good. Fishing has been a passion of mine since I was a child and I love all the aspects of fishing from learning a new body of water, all the gear, the one that got away, salt and fresh water, inland and off shore. Join us as we go out and try and get em!

Thanks for the video, just found your channel. I have never been to Mead wondering where you like to launch, I live in Cedar city. Thanks again for the vid.
Always good to see another video with you and Jen. Also good to see you finally keep and eat some. Don't forget that crappie and smallies are even better on the table than stripers.
For those of us that aren’t familiar with where you’re fishing perhaps you could tell us approximately where the lakes are located. I know I’d appreciate it. I just found your channel this morning. Thanks
I was just there 2 weeks ago the weather app said it was supposed to be 6 miles winds but it feel like 25 miles with white cap 😁 love every fishing videos you made👍 hopefully you will do gunlock reservoir soon because I love that place, going there next weekend for crappies
I’m very excited to have found this channel I have been watching for years on your old channel. It might be time to do a Powell tackle box update. I can’t wait to see more.
I'll be heading to Powell soon, haven't been since last year. Sometimes you need a break. Thanks for watching and supporting, more content on the way! Tight lines!
I did well on boils the last October I fished on Mead, it's still quite warm on Mead in early October. It's fishing though, anything can happen. Good luck out there and thanks for watching!
Appreciate you watching! Indeed, finding and catching the big Wipers is no easy task! I'm wondering if I even had the gear to handle had I lucked into one.
This video was the perfect description of Newcastle. You'll go hours sometimes without anything and you'll convince yourself that there are no fish left. Then, for some reason, the switch flips, and the action is fast and furious with some of the best fishing (at least for Wipers) in the state. I enjoyed the heck out of this video and loved watching you bring those guys in. This has been a record year for us at Newcastle. As you mentioned, my daughter caught one just over 10 lbs in June, I caught one just under 10 lbs a week and a half ago, and then my Dad caught one that was 7.5 lbs at the end of last week. There are some monsters in there. They are aggressive fish and are a ton of fun to catch.
The Wipers you all caught were double the size of mine so I can only imagine the fight those fish provided, certainly envious. Thanks for posting those awesome catches, it certainly encouraged me to go out and give Newcastle another chance. That's a dang hard body of water to fish so I was very surprised with the outcome of this trip. Thanks for watching, tight lines amigo!
Generally it's going to still be hot and busy, your best bet is to get away from Wahweep. I usually try to get to Rock Creek or beyond. Last Chance might be good. The Striper could be boiling anywhere at that time. Check Waynes Words Fishing Reports for the latest action. Go get em!
