Do you know if there’s any other differences than the electronics between this and the blx 4wd? In my country it’s easier to buy the 2wd version and make it 4wd and brushless
@t3floz I believe the BLX is the 3s brushless motor, the same upgrade I did in this video. I didn't spend the extra money because I already had the upgrades at home.
@@louiesfixit ye I would buy the 2wd brushed and make it brushless and 4wd myself instead of buying the blx which is already 4wd and brushless because it’s cheaper in my country to buy the 2wd Brushed and make 4wd and brushless myself
@t3floz I do t think it's cheaper if you don't have the parts already like the motor and esc combo the parts to make it 4x4 is like $20. Where u from if u don't mind me asking.
@@louiesfixit ye the 2wd version costs 213 euro here and the 4wd blx version costs 409 euro. I can get a cheap esc and motor for about 60 euro plus the 4wd upgrade which is 55 euro here so it gets to around 330 euro if I buy the 2wd and make 4wd and brushless. I live in sweden :)

Look at the side profile your car looks like a 4x4, lol. Your tires are supposed to be just below the body wheel well, like a few mm so it can turn. You got a whole foot of a gap, lol..... I was about to order a set of these, but your body is way up in the air, and catching air as you run it. Nice way to flip it over. I’ve gone through so many lights on my cars that I gave up. 🤣😂 so far the only good one I have out of 8 cars is for my 4x4 slash platinum and 2wd slash because they’re pretty much the same, and that’s only because I have 3 extra bodies for them and soon I’ll have an extra one for the felony, thanks to this guy. I'm new to Nitro/Gas as well. Waiting for my first car to arrive. But I heard from guys that run those that its better to run clear fuel lines. So you can see the fuel when you prime the motor.

Yeah most of the times I didn't hear it until I was going back over the video and it was too late but I removed it now and replaced it with an updated one

I own a Typhon, Radix 6, Asuga, Vendetta, Talion and a Punisher. The Talion is the quickest at 65mph but my Punisher will top out at 67 mph both straight out of the box. 💪💪
Nice video. Both look like a fun drive. It should be noted the big rock is about 180 bucks more than the Machete. That's a pretty big difference. I'm guessing either would be a ton of fun for just about any. They look great.

If money isn't the option I will go with any 1/5 scale Losi buggy I think that would be the top of the line if money is the option I seen these 1/5 scale Redcat buggy but they only Nitro the price not bad I think they was about 600 700 anything other than that would have to be the 1/5 scale Arrma kraton. I don't have a 1/5 scale RC as of now but if I was looking those would be my options I put the Arrma kraton as a last result because I already have the 1/7 scale Kraton.
